Though, i do not know about Mughal monuments, but the following have excellent acoustic systems.
1. Golconda Fort.
2. Gol Gumbad
3. In the Amer Fort, in Jaipur, there is a Maota Lake. That lake was used for musical programmes. It was built keeping in mind the acoustic demand.

BTW, Akbar's Diwan-i-Aam, in Agra Fort was NOT of concrete. It was more or less like a make shift structure, evident from some miniatures also.😊. The Diwan-i-Aam structure which we are seeing today in Agra Fort was MAJORLY a creation of Shah Jahan.!!!!!!.

Thanks ABHAy,
Mansi also ans'd back pages, i forget, i recalled, i also wrote in your thread, once.

That shows how much he has changed. He didn't even do this after the Sikri trip, so why now does he abolish this tax? She must be thinking that this is a sign that he is every minute thinking only of her these days and trying to show that he has her wishes - small and large - on his mind!

Mansi, that was good take.
Also, Jaya, my Q is when she said that she wants to rectify her mistake - what mistake is she refering to? Maybe the fidelity related or may not be also right? Maybe her negative impressions of him are changed. She would never have thought of Jalal doing such a thing (when it did not happen after FB incident). His great qualities which she had her own doubts al these days are crystal clear now and she may be apologetic about it. So, not necessarily that she has forgiven him or not anymore consider him as innocent of the fidelity issue. My guess on this, that's it.
Bcos, this tax incident could not just change her basic hurt overnight and that hurt has to be addressed only in those lines and nothing else can be a substitute in my humble view.
Also, when I read some posts saying that by passign this law, Jalal has proven his respect for Jodha and so she is pleased to return. I beg to differ here. Simply because, if say Jalal does not implement a law that Jodha had wanted, does it mean that he does not respect her? How is this logical? Even if he had listened to her views/concerns on any law (am not refering to Teerth tax here) and had explained why that law is still meaningful and cannot be corrected or removed as desired by Jodha, it still amounts to respecting her. The fact that he has listened to her and explained to her itself is respect enough.

hey, don't get axiety, I was and am laughing writing thinking of our ( all of us) oneess in discussing 16th century pregnancy and getting carried on... But stil I say if it is a fake pregs, then it has to do to avoid the punishment for tax misappropriation rather than avaoiding Jodha.

@Abhay and Ayushi:
I heard these kind of whispers echoing back from the walls in Gol Gumbaaz.
I can't remember if it was in that same building or somewhere else I also saw a staircase outside the monument building which looks like you are climbing up.
But since the ground level was also gradually sloped when you think you are climbing up the building, you are actually going down and down and down ... into the dungeons.
What a clever trick, na, for the King to trap his enemies that try to attack his palace!

Thanks Mansi for the lovely post, describing the DEK so beautifully and filling in for all Jalal's feelings that we might missed, jic😊
I loved the below part of your post today:

That was the part that touched him most as he took out some of the coins and necklaces inside the cash box. It had mattered a lot to Jodha that the poor Hindus were suffering under these taxes and she was doing her little bit to help them without asking Jalal for any money for this. She was saving out of her expenses kit for this.

She was a Queen with all the money at her disposal, but yet she was secretly building a small fund to help the poorest of the Hindus to go on their pilgrimages.

I thought that scene was special because it is exactly these types of small things one must notice about the person one loves. To know them well, to know their emotions and motivations and feelings well, one has to see where they are putting their small daily priorities. And seeing Jodha's little cash box must have shown Jalal exactly what would thrill her heart.

I have no doubt that even though it was all a financial-political decision for a King to take, somewhere in his heart Jalal must have hoped that his abolishment of the taxes would thrill Jodha no end. There was hidden emotion in his decision as he himself showed in the precap, when he said "At least think of me once when you hear this news!"

This is such a beautiful piece put down in your own classic way.
Jodha really touched me by her act here, conveying in a very nice way and the attitude to do what best she could within the constraints was very nice to see. And Jalal's beautiful recollection, repeat of her words and final small desire in the precap. You have beautifully said about the small, small things that matter the most finally, yet get missed out at times unfortunately. Beautiful analysis Mansi, loved it.

Even if the events do happen, I do not think that Jodha would be upset about Jalal's involvements in both issue. Rather she will just kick him out of her hojra for not doing his duty.

And again I do not think the consummation of a relationship with anger and fight is not what CVs have in mind. It would be as beautiful and as dignified as their love.

Love
Kshithi

My vote too Kshithi. Yes, the spoiler did not bother me much as I too had some faith in Jodha, exactly as jaya said, she would have only pushed him out to do what is required as a king, or even as a husband of a pregnant woman, than spending the evening with her.
