But, Jodha did say that Gayathri mantra while doing Tulsi puja in so e old episode. So, CVs have got it right for once in their khazana of bloopers.

Food for Thought 2: She recited the mantra in front of the tulsi in his birthday track and he had asked her its meaning.

I also wondered why no one had bothered to water the tulsi plant, when wonder of wonders, someone had lit a lamp (diya) there.
