Dear Kaana, You are looking at this in a very simplistic manner when love is hardly ever so.

Here you have presented Jodha as the ultimate prize of all that is good that Jalal is yearning for, whose goodness will change Jalal - srry but this is the premise of the love story from the makers that I have already disagreed with. But then that is my POV.

Kaana, Nicely written. Very structured too.

You have covered all the parts of Jalal's journey in love. For me personally, it is Jalal's journey to find his heart, his capability to love. Not love Jodha per se. I wanted to see his transformation from one proclaiming that he had no dil to the one who not only found his dil but rejoiced in giving it to somebody. That somebody was Jodha. But the journey, its ups and downs were Jalal's

Jodha's journey I'd have loved to see. Not that she hasn't moved at all. But compared to Jalal, her pace is a little (ok a lot) slower for my liking.

I really enjoyed reading your post. Thanks for the PM. 👍🏼

Hi, thanks for coming in and sharing your thoughts. I just want to humbly clarify that I have not tried to glorify Jodha here. I was only trying to understand in my own limited way what Jalal is going through, just that. I would like to stand corrected if my presentation has failed here.

The way I understood the episodes is that Jalal loves her very much for his own reasons, what ever he has fallen for (that is not my point of discussion here). However, he has not got what he has been longing for and sincerely trying to work it out, as yet and that is very sad. I was only trying to relate to his pain. My heart goes out to him.

Kaana, What do you have to say about his dhakka to Ruq.

Today she looked really concerned for him.. She even confessed to her folly herself, coz the whole truth about Maham boggled her. People may have seperate POV on why she confessed but i think she did it because of her love for Jalal. this was the last time she's done something against Jalal in a twisted way. She wanted to come clean and start on a clear slate, in whichever way her relation with Jalal moves!

What was the need for that hard push? She could have got seriously hurt? Why push your wives around. I hope he gets to know how MA aborted Ruq's child too!

Hey Minnie, good to have you back. I would refrain from taking a big detour from the subject of this thread. Will PM my thoughts or maybe post it in one of those threads. Hope its fine.😊

But on a serious note (!), dhakka seemed to be the tradition in the 16th Century! 😃 Earlier Jodha gave dhakka, now Jalal and wait for poor Hoshiyar to get one now!!😉

Well said, everything has a price to pay.

Remember the episode at Amer (Sukanya's wedding), when Jalal enlightened Jodha on a king's state of affairs. Not easy, very true!

BTW, if you would have noticed, I have finally done a post for Jalal. Sorry could not help it, when the Shehenshah ordered and also more so, when the beloved Shehenshah is in such a bad state now.
