How mean and petty it now sounds to be so judgemental on her!
Abhay your post is mind-transforming! Honestly it is! Are you a PhD in psychology as well as history? I think you are!

@Mansi @Abhay...
😆 😆

I really do not want to thwart your thoughts ...but can't help the laugh here...!!🤣

This is my collective reaction of all the Debates, Quarrels, Analyses, and the mayhem that was going on for the last few days in the forum....!!😃

I really could not understand why the actions, dialogues etc were crucified so much after the latest MU , when we already knew that this was a "Balaji Production" Serial and was destined to be dramatized , keeping the core issues intact...😳

It is a wonder and a over-whelming joy as well to see that a guy understood the emotion of our beloved "Royal Lady" better than the 99% ladies here...😃😉

Regards,
Kamal

I know she is not into PDA...and offcourse hugging jalal would have looked stupid. But to show no expression is what exasperated me. Frankly I do not see this as a normal reaction, specially from JO. She is different and I would have been OK if she had reacted in anger again! But some reactions atleast. Why think about your room and space when the husband is all wounded after suffering the attack from his sworn enemy?
I would have liked if she had lectured him again" see What I told you...this is what me and Bhaisa were trying to unearth and you had to spoil it with your shak. Now you are wounded...yada yada...'
Some reaction ...any reaction... no reaction was silly!

Have you stopped to wonder why a reactive person like Jo who reacts to everything related to Jalal didn't react at all? Because when we reach the limits of our comprehension of what is happening to us, to our life, to our relationships, we become zombies (or automatons like Mansi said). we are totally desensitized to everything surrounding us. It doesn't even register in our minds. At that moment, we are not in this world, let alone our senses.

It;s like you know, if someone close to us dies. And then someone comes crying that they have cut their finger. We are too zapped in our own loss to register something that appears insignificant compared to our own loss.

I just come to watch this show and discuss it on the forum to forget dramas in my life . Honestly, both have mistakes. Both will learn and grow. Both character will piss you off, that's the truth. I watch the show for my guilty pleasure. The forum has nothing but turned in a negative ka dhukan, it's annoying.😆I am here to watch and discuss the show not debate. I could give a f**k about anything else. It's abs drives me crazy when people put ridiculous comments and turn in to a fight zone. I say ignorance is a bliss and i like staying that way.
Abhay, loved ur insight , thank u.👏

Thnx Mansi.

I was just trying to sum up her journey. Yesterday's episode, no doubt lacked something, but i wanted to convey, we can not take strong conclusions on basis of a single episode.

BTW, I am far far far away from history and psychology, as far as my (BG)studies are concerned. I lately started reading some theories on psychology when i tried to understand Akbar and Dyslexia. That's set. I really feel this subject helps in understanding a person better. Cleo knows this better. Her posts reflect this. :))

loved your explanation.

Mansi - absolutely wonderful post. You know how much eagerly I was waiting to read your take and episode through your eyes.

I read many posts here giving Jodha's POV about yesterday's episode. I thank wonderful writers like you, Radhika, Diksha, Bhavana, Sun, Kshithi (btw her laptop is under repairs so maybe she won't be able to make her usual long wonderful posts) and not go forget Abhay and many many others - who made me feel lot better about episode.

This is what I REMINDED MYSELF
Jalal accused Jodha on EMA, he broke off ALL relations with her, he basically ended their marriage, he threw her out of her home (which she had just started to feel comfortable in) in the dead of the night.

I am NOT ACCUSING JALAL OR PUTTING BLAME HERE - all I am doing is RE-THINKING TO MYSELF - so that I can put Jodha's hurt again in better perspective.

Sun wrote wonderfully on Ela's thread yesterday. Jalal took 2 MONTHS to get over the dhakka insult and Jodha had to drink poison for it! Still HE has still not got over the dhakka - he kept mentioning it to Jodha still but more in questioning or teasing manner than in hurt. So even after Jodha drank poison can Jalal NOT forget the dhakka - HOW CAN WE EXPECT Jodha to forget WORSE INSULTS AND HUMILIATIONS AFTER ONE SORRY?!

Again I am NOT WRITING AGAINST JALAL - I am REMINDING MYSELF of Jodha's hurt.

WE HAVE SEEN Jalal's repentance, Jodha has not see what all he went through.

Also see from Jodha POV - she was alone in Mathura among strangers and had to pretend and hide her pain from everybody. So she was kind of brushing it off somewhere not even being able to let it out TOTALLY.

Jalal got her to do that in Mathura and esp after the fake death prank. So Jodha got to pour out her hurt to him.

The soul connect is such that they can only pour out their hurt to each other, no one else. Both first tolerate things to the max possible and then vent like a volcano (as Jaya put it).

Someone wrote wonderfully yesterday - till yesterday Jodha was remembering Jalal's words in flashback - now she is remembering his APOLOGY.

Also Jodha would have expected to FINALLY be free to let out all her feelings in the safety of Amer - where nobody will judge her - where she expects some TLC and taking of her side from her parents. WHO else can she think of to do that?

So it was a BIG SHOCK to her to see Jalal there. Her parents taking his side would make her feel she has not got a chance to even talk to them about all her hurts yet.

Parents, in general, don't take sides against their children. From my experience, I can say that when we are hurt, we tend to look at our hurt thru a magnifying lens. And the longer we keep looking at it, the bigger it seems to become. And the bigger our hurt becomes, the smaller the hurt of the other person appears. Parents are perhaps the only ones who care selflessly enough for us to give us a reality check and remove the magnifying lens from our hands. So that we can see our hurt for what it is and the other person's hurt for what that is. Yes, at the moment the lens is taken away, we cry like a baby from whose mouth a lollipop has been taken away. But sometime in the future, when we are past that hurt, we thank our parents in our hearts for pulling us (seemingly insensitively at that time) from out of our emotional quicksand and forcing us to take practical decisions to get on with life.

So her reaction is not from ego but TOTAL CONFUSION and fatigue also. Jodha and Jalal both are fatigued in mind. Yesterday Jalal got a chance to start feeling positive again about winning Jodha over. Jodha has STILL NOT GOT A SINGLE POSITIVE THOUGTH in HER mind. She needs to start thinking that first!

True. I think both have analyzed and overanalyzed the Night. Now they need to put that behind them and decide what they want to do moving forward. They cannot continue to evade the real world for long. Jalal especially will need to get back to Agra pretty soon. Before that, they have to talk and decide whether they want to get together or stay separately.

Yes, Jalal took time to get over the dhakka. But they were together in Agra then. And he could afford that time. Now they are away from Agra and he can ill afford to stay away any longer. So either Jodha will have to make up her mind fast or they will have to decide to be apart till such time as she is ready to take a decision. But as I mentioned to Mansi, the longer they stay apart, the harder it will be them to reconcile smoothly.

A middle path may be that Jodha is partially convinced enough to agree to return to Agra and Jalal continues the process of winning her trust there. (Which is very likely going to be the scenario with Shehnaz following Jodha around like Mary's little lamb.)

I know I don't sound very romantic but a king has to think in terms of his kingdom and his people also. He can't leave them at the mercy of his incompetent and traitorous family and associates.

I am not supporting Jalal here or saying Jodha doesn't deserve time to heal. What I'm saying is that she is not an ordinary housewife. She is a queen and has to think of her husband's responsibilities also. That is her tragedy. She doesn't have the luxury of taking her time and leaving the king hanging in limbo.

We also have overscrutinized the past. We also need to let go of the past and look ahead now and think how we want our leads to proceed next.

You have made a wonderful post Maddy! I am sorry but I know I can vent like a volcano on ur post. 😆 Please excuse me.
