It's Friday and we had a less dramatic episode (except some drama from the as expected Mainavati) but there were some meaningful moments to it nonetheless.

So, without much ado, here is my take 5:

(1) Jalal's flashback of Jodha: Loved the choices of scenes that were chosen as it showed the journey of Jodha-Jalal ... From the first time he saw Jodha and her paayal to the last truly close Akdha scene near the pond ... Before the Jodha-Jalal confrontation that shattered it all for now ...

I also thought that perhaps Jalal was also sad as I seeing the shrewd, teda, witty guy he was back in the old days 😆

Another tip: Watch theses scenes on mute and just watch Rajat's expressions... It is awesome! 👏

(2) Jalal arriving in Amer ... There was something very regal in his stature as he marched in and I always love the Amer background music ... I liked the little emotions Rajat/Jalal brought to this scene: the way he was looking around to see one glimpse of Jodha, the eyes moving slightly to the ground when doing his adaab, and he hesitance on how to start to the conversation.

(3) Today, Bharmal and Mainavati proved how you do not need to bash / criticize to feel bad for Jodha and there is a world of difference: Both were concerned for Jodha ... But reassuring to Jalal as well. Mainavati was worried her promise had kept Jodha from coming to Amer while Bharmal was worried about her safety as well. It is not like they are not worried or do not care for Jodha ... But they also understand Jalal's POV and realize he needs reassurance in this troubling time as well- that his one mistake does not erase all he is ever done for Jodha and his family. 👏

And, that exactly had been my POV- that both Jodha and Jalal are victims of circumstances and both have made mistakes.

(4) And, I will save special mention for one specific dialogue for Raja Bharmal who maybe is our new version of Shaguni Bai: He says eye can see the love and pain in your eyes ... This ensures that your relationship with Jodha will get stronger.

Two things of note here:

- I was pleasantly surprised by Bharmal's level of perception that he could recognize the hurt and love Jalal has for Jodha ... Something that the CVs have never acknowledges that Jodha perceives (I am not saying Jodha does not, but the CVs never show it)
- CVs are now using Raja Bharmal as the new Shaguni Bai to say that the Jodha-Jalal relationship will be stronger coming out of it 😉

(5) Ruq has some signs of hope ... She is arrogant, thinks only she has the right over Jalal, is too influenced by MA, and has way too much hukka ... But otherwise, I was trying to think, every time she has criticized / lashed out against Jodha, it is truly because she thinks Jodha is wrong; she thought:
- Jodha helped Shivani elope and put the Mughals to shame
- Jodha wrongly accused Ben of being a vishkanya out of jealousy
- Jodha was meeting a secret lover

We feel upset as she is happy during these times when she is wrong ... But she thinks she is doing the right thing. But, she does not create a plot around Jodha like MA, she thinks she is catching Jodha doing something wrong without knowing that MA has created the plot.

Today, I sensed sadness in her that she has lost ...

For a change, this weekend looks like a shaant one ... No nail biting suspense. I am pretty sure in the precap Jalal is not going to find Jodha but Shehnaz. Perhaps, she will claim, she can help him? Or else, she may find Jodha later, but not tell her how desperately her husband is looking for her to serve as the next road block?

What were your thoughts on the episode?

Divya, not a great episode, but it was good to see Bharmal and co not punching Jalal or make him the reason. Someone who consoled him and he needed it very badly.
The line, "hamein aapko tang karne mein Mazaa aata hain", hope to see Teda Jalal back.
Monday, sure we will see Shehnaz with kanha murti (definitely not Jodha's), but mistaken identity you see😉 And if at all Jalal is nice to her, then Jalal will be buried on Monday itself and we can sing National Anthem in his memory😆

I adored Jalal for keeping Jodha's payal..the guy is crazy for his Begum..😳in her absence her anklet probably soothing him a bit..I laughed when he said "humein aapko tangg karne mein bada mazaa ata hai Jodha Begum" that child-like smile on his face...🤗awww I told u na, he is a baccha..😳but the very next moment it was replaced by the sadness recalling the cursed moment.😭

what to say about Rajat!! he is the expression king!⭐️👏

I totally loved Amer scene..his entry and the BG...the palace is so grand and beautifully decorated...Jalal looking his best there..his eyes were searching Jodha all the while.😭

(3) Today, Bharmal and Mainavati proved how you do not need to bash / criticize to feel bad for Jodha and there is a world of difference: Both were concerned for Jodha ... thank u Divi..for pointing this out..I've written the same in other thread..I liked Bharmal a lot today..he did what a FIL should have done..👏he read Jalal's pain, understood it and gave him the shoulder to cry on which Jalal needed at this moment..👏he consoled him..varna everyone is there to taunt, bash, lash him out...no one is able to understand the pain he is going through!!🥱 mujhe yehi ummeed thi Bharmal-Mainavati se...👍🏼 they did live up to my expectations...I want to thank them for reassuring already devastated Jalal.👏

(4) And, I will save special mention for one specific dialogue for Raja Bharmal who maybe is our new version of Shaguni Bai: He says eye can see the love and pain in your eyes ... This ensures that your relationship with Jodha will get stronger.

I loved it!!! just loved it...see their love is visible to everyone!

Two things of note here:

- I was pleasantly surprised by Bharmal's level of perception that he could recognize the hurt and love Jalal has for Jodha ... Something that the CVs have never acknowledges that Jodha perceives (I am not saying Jodha does not, but the CVs never show it)

Jodha will...let them meet..I have full confidence on her..hope CVs dont ruin it.😊
I want Shaguni Bai..I miss her!

Today, I sensed sadness in her that she has lost ...

Ruqu is very a complicated person.😕for the first time I saw her worrying for HB..she hates Jodha, she loves power, she loves her lavish life, she loves to be treated as khaas...but she has some good qualities which we get to see at times..today was one such...she is grey, not evil.

I think it will neither be Jodha nor Shehnaz...Shehnaz will meet Jodha first, then Jalal..as she is a nun..that's what I am assuming..🤔lets see.

What were your thoughts on the episode?

I liked it but missed Jodha a lot..😭😭without her or Jalal, epi looks adhuura.😭
bekar ke Maham-Javeda scene naa dikhake Jodha ko dikha sakte the😡😡

P.S. Mainavati's ganga-jamuna is back...she without tears is like jal bin machli😆

I loved it... Finally Jo's act of disappearing like this without any trace, made her selfish parents understand that they really have lost their pure and selfless daughter... though she will always show respect towards them, still she has parted her ways from her so-called her family...

And, that exactly had been my POV- that both Jodha and Jalal are victims of circumstances and both have made mistakes.

episode was ok in absence of Pari... but loved Jalal... hope he now understands his Jo, and doesn't let some new MU come btw them...coz the pic in the start of the episode confirms Jo and Jalal will have distance btw them coz of this sujamal MU...let's see how they patch up...

I love any kind of amer episodes! (I really hate Agra...) it was cute how Jalal kept looking for Jodha as he came in, and said "Jodha!" when that handmaid walked in, he really is going out of his mind poor guy. I thought it was a good episode overall! For the first time in ages I actually can't wait to watch the
next episode!

Maybe now Jodhas parents would begin to appreciate her more, as much as I love them (especially Mainavati) it was cruel to say she can't come back to her old home without her husband with her.

I liked the episode some how.
Rajat made it really special, by not raving and ranting like last Friday, but, by being subtle. His fond smile when he remembered the lake scene and saying he loved riling Jodha, whereas in that scene it was Jodha who had had him speechless. And the sudden change in expression. All the scenes you mentioned, I loved them!

A special mention to the way in which he was looking over the Amer palace in the night. As if he was trying to remember the last times he had been there, first time, smitten by her beauty, the second time as her husband who had after the suicide attempt had decided to try tease the way into her heart during her sister's wedding. (I personally feel that after her suicide attempt his attitude towards her changed, and instead of shouting at her face he started using tedha ways to break the ice)

I feel their relationship is going through various phases wherein Jalaal is employing different ways to make her his, in the beginning it was anger and frustration that she had submitted to her fate and done a shashtaang at his feet, then he tried guile, (this phase would have been a treat to watch, had it not been derailed by MA with that dhakka inducing, now you know why I hate her.) Now finally, he's trying love. I hope for his own sake, he succeeds this time, because I can't imagine what ammo he needs next (It looks like, he doesn't need anymore tarqueeb as prem has sprouted in her heart.)

I actually feel bad for Ruqaiyya. Imagine your best friend and companion falls madly in love with someone else. It's like Archie Betty Veronica story, where Archie has actually fallen for Betty for a change.

Everyone wants the lady in the temple to be Shehnaaz. But I would like it to be Jodha, and see how the story takes a turn then...

In a way it's good they didn't show Jodha today. Frankly poor thing has nothing new to offer other than tears, prem being insulted and everything.

Honourable mention Bharmal - After consoling Jalaal, the way he swiftly walked off, because he didn't want his Jawaisa to see him losing control, maybe shed a tear that would show his sadness and fear and break his little boy completely. This is the kind of behaviour I had expected from Hamida yesterday.

Also despite his inner turmoil, he was in complete control as the emperor. Way to go!

Nice take! 👏 Great post!👍🏼

P.S: Did I just sound like a Suraj Barjatiya heroine? Gah! I am a gonner now.🤪

Sorry dear, for having totally different opinion today, dunno... May be am having a mood off 😳
I signed up to see this show for a feisty Rajput Princess Jodha and a fiery lion Mughal Jalal whom she tamed / mellowed him with her love and changed his perspective of a ruler and ruled. 😳

But, what I got today was a forlorn tearful Majnu or a Romeo who refuses to sleep, eat and chat properly. Yes.. He has fallen in love, but, why have tears in front of his in-laws and crumble down in front of his FIL. For me, I like my man to Rise In Love, show some positivity and astuteness in dealing with the matter of the heart also, like he deals with his vast Sultanate. 😔

It's okay to show regret and remorse with self when he is alone, but, why show an Emperor so vulnerable in public (like in today precap) to people of Amer. 😕

Am sorry.. To say the famous dialogues from Amar Prem : I hate tears Pushpa ... I hate tears. Especially when it's from Akbar. 😭

But, I admit, RT is fabulous in his expressions... This guy does magic with his charming face and makes it real for you, that u wanted to go "aawwweeie" and hug him tight. 🤗
