Jodha got up from the bed. She was in a trance and tears flowed down her cheeks constantly. Never in her dreams had she thought that her Shahenshah would say something like this to her. Now that he had already alleged her of having an extra-marital affair, there was no point in clearing his doubt. There was no point in saying that ,"No.. You are wrong.. I have not betrayed you." because he had already presumed so low about her. Now She just wanted to rectify her mistake by telling him the truth.

She went near the window and felt the soothing breeze on her face. How much she wished well of him, how much she cared for him... But,alas she herself was responsible for this condition. No she did not fully blame him. She so very well knew that it was her fault in having hid the things from him. The only thing which pierced her heart into two pieces was his thinking, his mind-set.

She turned to his sleeping form and finally said in a low tone ,"Agar aap humein kisi aur se milne ki sazaa dete to hum khushi khushi sweekaar kar lete. Itna ghinona ilzaam lagane ki kyaa aavshyakta thi Shahenshah... (Her voice was breaking with each word she spoke... She moved towards him)..Kyaa ek baar bhi jaanane ki koshish nahi ki ..ki hum kisse mil rahe hain..kyon mil rahe hain... Khair.. Hum ye sab aapko nahi bataa naa chahte... Kyonki aapne humaare baare mei pehle hi dhaarna (opinion) banaa li hai...

She wiped off her tears and searched for a piece of paper. Soon she had the paper and the ink.
As soon as she started writing the message that she wanted to convey to him... She remembered what all had happened when she had sent a 'Thank you' letter to him last time. She remembered how constantly he had taunted her about dhakka and how he had alleged her of refusing from her own letter. She didnt know what to do now. If again he read the letter falsely, she will have a big time clearing it out. After much thinking...she decided to write the letter and place it below his pillow... She didnt care for consequences now. When he had already thought so low of her, comprehending the letter falsely again was no big thing.

In around ten minutes...she completed her message and folded the paper. She slowly went to his bedside and placed the letter below it. She turned around to make her next move when she felt a tight grip around her wrist. She turned back to see that Jalal had held her wrist in his palm..in his sleep.

Another painful tear rolled down her eyes.. Her throat and voice were giving up. With much difficulty..she removed her hand from his grip and said ," humein kshama kar dijiyegaa Shahenshah... Humse aaj tak jo bhi bhool hui..uske liye hum aapse Kshamaa maangte hain".

With this she covered herself with a blanket and moved out of her room.


**Morning**

The soothing sunrays fell upon his face and his sleep was brought to a hault. He slowly opened his eyes to find himself in an alien yet familiar environment. He could very well comprehend that he was in her room for her scent was enough for him to recognise her and her vicinity. A smile crept upon his face thinking about her.

He tried to get up but his head was throbbing with intense pain. Too much of liquor consumption was showing its effects. He stumbled a little while getting up and then suddenly his smile vanished. He was no more happy for being in her room. Infact he was alarmed. He was supposed to be with Ruqaiya, right? Then what the hell was he doing there...

He searched for water on the side table and then washed his face thoroughly with the water. He turned around to see if Jodha was there on the other side of bed, but he found her missing.

His rage was returning. He was in a conflict of thoughts. So many questions ran in his mind. Where was she? Did something happen between them last night? Was she with him last night or was she on her usual secret night trip? His eyes became all red with anger when he caught the view of a folded piece of paper below his pillow... He raised his eye brow in a puzzling way. He took that piece of paper in his hand and opened it... Only to find some message
written on it.

My heart is pounding... I am feeling so sad... for Jalal and Jodha both of them... Poor Jo she is so hurt but I strongly feel that she was wrong... going out meet someone 3 nights... How any man can tolerate... and Jalal had kept his patience enough... Jodha is not wrong but not right either... If Jalal questions she might think he is blaming her for having affair... any way...Very confusing emotions for both of them...

But, alas she herself was responsible for this condition. No she did not fully blame him. She so very well knew that it was her fault in having hid the things from him. (Thank U for this para... She knows she was not right) beautifully written... I hope they also show that it was her mistake too...

The only thing which pierced her heart into two pieces was his thinking, his mind-set.(In this case he is fully drunk not in his sense...) so again if he has done this in full conscious I understand... But we talking about Jo's feelings.. Ofcourse it's going to hurt... when you love someone so deeply blames U to have an external affair... UR heart will broke in million pieces...

She wrote letter... and left under the pillow... omg... as usual I have feeling Ma ke haath me hi aayega... Poor Jallu's is in unconscious stage... holding her ... not letting her go... Aww.. Superb...

My heart torn, Poor Jalal... his eyes still searching for her... I am glad at least he found letter... Can't wait to read next chapter ...👏👏👏
