Mansi,
So Terrible Tuesday came and went but not the way we expected!
I am being lazy and copy pasting what I wrote on Divya's thread.
Nobody could predict what is actually happening now. So I guess it's best we stop predicting and just watch what is offered with a blank mind 😆 which may become blanker still after watching the show.
I am also losing sympathy for Jalal and Jodha. For God's sake, one of them should pick up some courage and shake the other one to the core and speak up! How long do we have to put up with their silences and self-talk and ignoring/insulting vs confusion/guilt...I wish someone would lock them up in a room so that they are forced to talk about the core issues bothering them and not about other people's problems. How long do we have to put up with MA and Ruq's smug faces?
This track which seemed to be ending this week at a good pace now seems to be dragging its feet like the Ben track and may last till the end of IPL. May be the CVs have given up on bringing out a new track in the face of IPL and falling TRPs and will just chug along with this one 🥱
I have a horrible feeling MA will now try to introduce the infidelity issue or the saazish-to-kill-Jalal issue and instigate Jalal to drive away Jodha to Amer. Till today's episode, I was dead sure Jalal would not send away Jodha. But now I'm not so sure. The way he decided to go to Ruq to spite Jodha, he may just send her away to further spite her. 😭
Abhay had predicted fun episodes now, with the downfall of MA and AK. But she seems to be getting more powerful (esp over Jalal) again. Someone has correctly observed that the JA show is turning into the MA show! 😕
Now I know why Jalal values Ruq. She is his rebound girl. When ever he has a fight with Jodha, he goes to Ruq on the rebound. 😆Doesn't Ruq have any sense of self-respect? 😲 But seriously, why Ruq - because he knows her, flaws and all. He knows when and how much he can trust her and he has no expectations from her. So he has less to fear in terms of any betrayal by her.
I don't mind if Jalal goes to Ruq for XYZ reason but I hope he doesn't tell her about his problems with Jodha. In today's episode, we will have to watch Ruq taunt Jodha that she has now got both harem and Jalal back. God, oh God, another round of public humiliation of Jodha 😭
I don't think Jalal is trying to make Jodha jealous. The past few days he has not been able to find an answer to his question of why Jodha's secrecy is bothering him so much. Now he is going into denial mode. He is trying to tell himself that he doesn't care for Jodha and she means nothing to him. He is trying to satisfy himself by trying to replace her with someone who is more easily available and by trying to replace love with physical satisfaction (with which he is more familiar and therefore more comfortable).
Jalal wants Jodha to feel pain, the way he is paining. This is the Jalal I didn't want to see and was hoping not to see again. How people react in adverse circumstances tells a lot about their character. Why couldn't Jalal overcome his fears and have a heart to heart talk with Jodha? Why does he say what he wants to say and leave without listening to what she has to say? Why doesn't Jodha get the courage to stop him by his hand if required and ask him what his problem is?
I don't think Jodha is jealous to see him go to Ruq. She is plain hurt he is ignoring her. Jalal knows she has no lover. He is just fanning his own ego (with help from MA) that he is the husband and the king and she must not have a life outside his knowledge and permission. He doesn't want to be the first to approach her and talk. He wants her to come to him, tell her secret and apologize. He can't believe that she can keep some part of her life private, some part of her over which he has no control. He wants total submission from her. Nothing short of that will do. If she can't do that, he wants to believe that she has no meaning in his life.
What bugs me as a woman is that he can keep any number of women and play around with them but he can't take it if his wife talks to another guy without his knowledge/permission. I don't want to hear any talk of 16th century/21st century and traditions etc. At the end of the day, all these customs have been made by us and we are the ones making different rules for men and women.
Why, oh why do the CVs take a perfectly good idea and then proceed to strangle it and us in a slow motion?
Let's all gather strength to bear a torturous track!
