Hello di.

I was just logging out and saw this.
So replying to your post.

Perhaps the meaning of my post was not clear. I also mean somewhat similar what u have written here.
In the first meeting as u said i agree with u that the matters did not escalate. She repented later not telling him about Suja as Suja had taken that promise. And all this happened all of sudden.

Before this our DEAR MOTI played the spoil sport by giving that advice. And succeeded in getting fear planted in Jodha's mind.

Hence in my comment i mentioned that the situations which were shown to us were quite absurd. As if the CV's are deliberately creating MU.

BTW, even in my dreams i have NOT read that any Mughal Begum can go out at night..Rofl...

Yes Jalal is hurt and at many places i have written that he needs to vent out. I do NOT hold him wrong here.

Afterall the circumstances have created a deliberate MisUnderstanding here.
I only expect some sensible future tracks now.

Jalal committed a lot of mistakes during Tasneem and Ben, but he took the blame sought forgiveness - and Jo (and most of the audience) have forgiven him...

If she accepted her faults at the end of this and apologized, I'm sure Jalal would be flat.. and we'd all love her.. (feel like running and giving her a hug in fact 😆)

Instead, again she's proved right and he's saying sorry sorry sorry mujhe maaf kardo sab

my only complaint is why is HE turned culprit at the end of it all and apologizing ALL THE TIME ..

Just came, so thought would chime in.
Agreed Jodha is at fault- There is no doubt and ought to apologise.
But is her fault and mistake grave enough to banish her from Agra? Am not sure.

So what I would like it is, if they both apologize.First Jodha and then Him. Her for getting carried away and doing what she did, him going to extremes and sending her away.
Divi, yet to read your post, be back.

Today was the calm before the storm episode ... Nothing much exciting happened today but there were clear signs of progress towards the climax of this track.

So without much ado, here is my latest edition of Take 5:

(1) Jodha and Rahim scene: I am very excited that one of my predictions with this show was correct ... I had predicted on Friday that Jalal will see Jodha and Rahim together. That itself is enough to get it into my top 5. But jokes apart, I always love the attachment between Jodha and Rahim as it is very cute and beautiful. It always shows what a great MUZ she will be ... But Jalal was so sad and lonely today that his usual MUZ thoughts probably didn't come to his head today. He was just confused as to what to think of his Jodha Begum ... 😊

Its always a delight to watch Rahim and Jodha together. Well, after sometime( or a very long time😕) we will probably find Salim in place of Rahim.😊

Other than this, I will say that I just can't stop myself from praising this man. Just see how patient he is despite his state of mind! His attempt of dropping hints could not make any difference except Jodha realising that Jalal is drifting apart and that too so late. I'm glad there will be no more of this indirect conversation.

(2) The perceptive Jodha: I liked how Jodha sensed that Jalal and her were drifting apart and it actually matters to her that there is a distance. This seems to be different from after the Shove when they began drifting apart ... Then she never expressed her concern. Now she is ... Now the question is what she will do about it.

I am still not sure how she told him I have not hidden anything but still not get the hint that he might have heard about her night activities and know about her meetings with Sujamal. This is where I claim CVs are not consistent because Jodha is very smart and perceptive.

@bold...I agree. Jodha's instincts have deserted her and are holidaying somewhere. Now he has given enough of hints for anyone to doubt that something is wrong, the actual fact being nothing is right! It really upsets me when I see that the dicoverer of Shahenshah's heart is somewhere not able to read his heart. I'm glad that she has atleast made the slightest of the much required progression but actually its of no use because now its already too late to realize and act accordingly.

(3) The lonely Jalal: My heart still goes out to the lonely Jalal though I agree he can ask her directly and he will finally do it tomorrow. After the Salima/Rahim scene, I loved his description of how lonely he was feeling and what happens when a Begum stops supporting him. It was very touching. I also liked his statement that she talks to him but does not tell him anything after the Mazhar case. It showed how much the hurt was stemming from her not trusting him and not from the fact that she met another man.
Yes he is lonely, very lonely! 😭Presently his world seems the smallest to him without the someone special in his life to trust him the same way as he trusts her now. @bold...Their reaction was something usual these days-Jalal's face and sarcastic tone said everything about he being very upset and Jodha's puzzled expressions displayed her confusion of what she should make out of his behaviour!

(4) Jalal did not take out his anger on the Mazher case: The Mazher case today reminded me of the adultery case that came during the fake pregnancy track. Then, Jalal took his anger on Jodha on the lady and punished her to be stoned. Here, I like how Jalal did not seem to do that at all. He left the decision to Mazhar and told the lover she had already been punished by losing her lover's trust. I do not think Jalal made any statement on whether he supported the friend or the lover ... He just let Mazhar make the decision which is what it always should have been. Not sure if anyone else felt this ...
Yeah...I felt the same! His decision was good! I'm happy that he didn't get too personal to reflect the same in his decision. But being honest, I really didn't like this scene, for I feel cv's always make bad coincidences like this. I really don't like it when they make Jalal relate himself to these people in such ways. You can find better ways to demonstrate a changed Jalal or Jalal thinking over an issue but not horrible ones as these.

As everyone has already said, Jodha questioning Jalal over his decision is something even I didn't get!😕 What else can be more fair than Mazhar himself deciding who to live with rather than someone else, may be Shahenshah or anyone else deciding the same for him? Smart decision, I would say!

(5) The precap we are finally waiting for has finally come... The fact that it is coming on a Tuesday is itself is happy news as then it looks like this track will be ending this week as we all know how Sujamal will enter the palace. Glad Ruqs is hiring these folks! 😆But, here are two things I liked about Jalal's upcoming explosion:
- He first said Taqliya ... So this is not a public insult
- He clearly states that I am not upset because you met a ghair mard but because you hid it from me!
Finally, the wait is over. Its good that we will have no more of "catch my hints" and "I can't understand anything" scenes. This venting is something which is much required now. How I wish this explosion of emotions would come from both sides. But alas! That will not happen. We will have to watch Jodha's tears, silence and helplessness and Jalal's anger, pain and frustration!

Spoilers say that after this Jodha and Jalal will come close to each other as never before. And I was like this happens on a regular basis and then suddenly it appears that nothing had ever happened. Tell us something new!

Other article was about Jalal apologizing to Jodha! Even this is nothing new to us! This has left me wondering if a husband should apologize for trusting his wife, longing for a reciprocation and finally demanding an answer of his very genuine question. Doesn't he have the rights to do that? Why can't for once they show both of them apologizing to each other because none of them doing so can't happen and one of them doing it would rile up many?????!!!!! In case Jalal is the one who asks Jodha to leave Agra, a demand of apology from both sides will be fair but in case Jodha herself decides to leave, I will go for Jodha apologizing rather than Jalal, which will of course never happen.
So, conclusion is that cv's are experts in butchering characters be it Jalal or Jodha!!!!

A lot of today's episode footage was spent on Adam Khan and Pir Mohammed. While I am sure it was of historical significance and likely is another step towards Adham Khan's downfall, I will put it in my take 5 when it actually gets closer to Adham Khan's downfall.

This was painful to watch. I tolerated it keeping in mind Adham's downfall.

So, what were your thoughts on today's episode?
Episode was very much average for me. I'm only waiting for tomorrow's outburst. And Divya, this was a very good take, as usual!😃

Well said Shradda. 👏
No matter what Jodha does at the end of the day it becomes Jalals fault.

Yes... Abhay I have read that post in detail. Its about "vachans" and going by it. How Jalal had done this before and now Jodha is doing it because of her promise to Sujamal.

I do accept these points, but, :

1. when she is confronted by her husband to tell the truth as he had found out about her nightly jaunts, is it not her duty to blurt out the truth. Coz, if I have to choose between a dear brother and my husband, I would choose my husband only as he is my life. Am sure, a loving brother will totally understand a Sister's situation in this. Dont' you think. 😭

2. What about her "Saath vachans" to her husband when she married ? SHould that go in thin air..pooff..!! 😭

3. There are many who have written of how Ekta's CVs are mostly women and they undermine the male characters to portray the female lead as "mahaan" - yes i agree and its true. Having seen many Ekta's shows, she always does this. 😕

4. Jodha is always shown very shrewd and understands even minute gestures of the other person, how come, having lived with Jalal, doesnt get the point across when he tells his sad tale of being alone and passes comments or hints to her. In today's episode, she feigns innocence as to why there is a distance developing between herself and Jalal. 😲

5. I cannot, bear to see the male-lead-character time and again asking forgiveness and falling on his knees. In this case, we are talking about a great Emperor. I know, the target audience of such serials / shows for any production house is the female following, thats why its mostly women centric. But, the CVs forget that, women love "Strong, self-assured, authoritative men who are great lovers too" 😳

Oh! So there's some article?
My only contention is without getting to the bottom of who/why she met, how could he send her off?
Again Jodha has been acting crazy stupid there is no doubt.
In the movie, the track happened right after wedding where the duo barely knew each other.
Here their relationship and bond has deepened a lot. If a person is willing to give her life for you, then that must say something?
That she would neither plot against the sultanat not have a EMA...No?
BTW am talking without seeing the episode. Will see it when it airs in 3 hrs.
Also on a side note, I wonder what all that soul talk was about never ever feeling alone again the night before Ben Track culmination... If they intended Jalaal to become even more miserable and lonely!

Hi All,
Thanks for the beautiful comments ... I love to wake up to them 😊 I won't have Internet access for a few hours but will respond back to each and every one as long as my Internet does not let me down.

At this point, it seems like the general pulse seems to be we feel bad for Jodha and Jalal and are completely mad at the CVs or SWs (Script writers as Lavs appropriately calls them).

I am also not looking forward to seeing Jalal apologize ... But he did it in such style after the Ben track that maybe we should wait to see how the CVs execute? Hopefully, they do not make Jalal look like he made the mistake or maybe he just apologizes for ever letter her leave his life and not for the whole not trusting issue. Maybe there is hope?

We have enough to bash CVs on today ... Let's save something to bash them tomorrow if they again weaken Jalal 😆

Cheers,

Divya

I had promised myself that I will no longer make any post on this current fracas, but Anu this one is for your Q. The earlier problem was why TE was not asking directly and now the issue is why shd he apologise for asking what he does. I am totally upset with the second part and made my post on Caesar's wife just to state that his asking so is valid. As for why does he send her away without getting to the bottom of things - he asked her directly and she lied by omission - not telling and keeping silent is also eqivalent to lying. Now let us say Aziza asks the Emperor that his wife too is lying to him - so now where to his sense of justice? - his sending her to Amer until she can be honest to him is still a soft punishment than banishment - as I keep saying 'Caesar's wife has to be above suspicion' - and Jodha's actions can be quoted and TE's justice challenged if he does not take strong action - and keeping her in Agra as a nazarbandh is not a strong action - the Emperor has dispense justice with impartiality even where it affects him.

Adia ...I see ur point...and I too felt Jalaal had every right to shout at her.
But I still believe He needed to have waited before sending her away...
As I believe in the saying "Innocent until proven Guilty" as opposed "Guilty until proved innocent".
Now coming to lying...So Ruqu did like when broached about the Kanha scandal...Her punishment was not this grave.A Ruqqu did it with malice in mind. A lie is a lie...So coming from an impartial emperor, why this strong a decision when it came to Jodha?
I fully understand it was Jodha's actions that brought this and am, as critical of her actions as anyone.
However the part I'm not convinced is if warranted this kind of a reaction where now everyone in the sultanate gets to know...that she is sent away. Its now no longer an issue between husband and wife.
