Navri and her eternal victimisation
Today was the calm before the storm episode ... Nothing much exciting happened today but there were clear signs of progress towards the climax of this track. This track is nothing but further ruining the characterization of Jodha. It is turning her into a miserable wimp from the once fearless, dynamic and action oriented character in the beginning. Now she only weeps, keeps silent and does most outrageous actions, in short turning into to the daily soap heroines who actually do Nothing except creating trouble but getting away scot free from it.😕 Why SW's Why?😡
So without much ado, here is my latest edition of Take 5:
(1) Jodha and Rahim scene: I am very excited that one of my predictions with this show was correct ... I had predicted on Friday that Jalal will see Jodha and Rahim together. That itself is enough to get it into my top 5. But jokes apart, I always love the attachment between Jodha and Rahim as it is very cute and beautiful. It always shows what a great MUZ she will be ... But Jalal was so sad and lonely today that his usual MUZ thoughts probably didn't come to his head today. He was just confused as to what to think of his Jodha Begum ... 😊😆😆 The only happy person in the episode, Salima begum.
(2) The perceptive Jodha: I liked how Jodha sensed that Jalal and her were drifting apart and it actually matters to her that there is a distance. This seems to be different from after the Shove when they began drifting apart ... Then she never expressed her concern. Now she is ... Now the question is what she will do about it.What perceptive? Had she been shown even least bit then the first day itself Jodha would have gauged the pain Jalal was undergoing and next in the music night scene-this was so clear and honest. Jodha's dialogues were just dialogues, the SWs never make her act on it.I am still not sure how she told him I have not hidden anything but still not get the hint that he might have heard about her night activities and know about her meetings with Sujamal. This is where I claim CVs are not consistent because Jodha is very smart and perceptive.
(3) The lonely Jalal: My heart still goes out to the lonely Jalal though I agree he can ask her directly and he will finally do it tomorrow. After the Salima/Rahim scene, I loved his description of how lonely he was feeling and what happens when a Begum stops supporting him. It was very touching. I also liked his statement that she talks to him but does not tell him anything after the Mazhar case. It showed how much the hurt was stemming from her not trusting him and not from the fact that she met another man.Exactly the characterization of Jalal has all the shades, a good transformation and great dialogues. But Jodha gets a flat characterization and insipid dialogues. Where is the fearless and intelligent Amer princess who fought against all odds?Sadly the dialogues written for Jodha are with the objective to augment Jalal's pain and in turn build up anger towards Jodha. Now Jalal is hurt and shown in deep angst, which in turn riles up the audience against Jodha. 😕😒.
(4) Jalal did not take out his anger on the Mazher case: The Mazher case today reminded me of the adultery case that came during the fake pregnancy track. Then, Jalal took his anger on Jodha on the lady and punished her to be stoned. Here, I like how Jalal did not seem to do that at all. He left the decision to Mazhar and told the lover she had already been punished by losing her lover's trust. I do not think Jalal made any statement on whether he supported the friend or the lover ... He just let Mazhar make the decision which is what it always should have been. Not sure if anyone else felt this ...Yes he did not, he was fair to allow Mazhar to do as he wished. It was pointless of showing Jodha to ques this?😒. The SWs are probably sleep walking through her dialogues and scenes. It made no sense.
(5) The precap we are finally waiting for has finally come... The fact that it is coming on a Tuesday is itself is happy news as then it looks like this track will be ending this week as we all know how Sujamal will enter the palace. Glad Ruqs is hiring these folks! 😆But, here are two things I liked about Jalal's upcoming explosion:- He first said Taqliya ... So this is not a public insult- He clearly states that I am not upset because you met a ghair mard but because you hid it from me!
A lot of today's episode footage was spent on Adam Khan and Pir Mohammed. While I am sure it was of historical significance and likely is another step towards Adham Khan's downfall, I will put it in my take 5 when it actually gets closer to Adham Khan's downfall. The whole track is flabbergasting and irrational. The multiple secret middle of night meetings, despite repeated opportunities and questioning about her meetings there is pin drop silence. Moreover leaving the harem responsibility suddenly for no stated reason.
Portraying Jodha as one bound by vachan ( as shackles), Jalal repeatedly trying to make her share, feeling sad and broken, but in vain, Finally he vents out but Jodha still silent. Jalal may ask her to leave or banish and Jodha cries and cries and turns utterly miserable😕. So the whole idea is only to put Jodha is put in a sacrificial and miserable mode so that she invites sympathy. This makes the original victim (Jalal) the culprit and the original culprit (Jodha) the victim. The show is losing the very essence of showing courage, intelligence, fearlessness, kindness, care, affection, trust as traits present in both man and woman and balancing it , this is what catapulted it to great heights. Sadly the current portrayal lacks this.If the SWs want to turn the show into Akbar-journey of transformation and Jodha just one of the supporting characters like Hamida, Maham, then they should announce it and change the name to Akbar-rise/journey to greatness. At least stop the hypocrisy of equal characters when one character is completely overlooked.I am completely disappointed with the SWs.So, what were your thoughts on today's episode?
Exactly the SWs are ruining Jodha's character. They have given her a very flat character growth, infact taking away the original traits they had given her. She is being turned into a mute spectator. Her dialogues are insipid and she is never made to act on any of those.Originally posted by: RadhikaS0
Girls: At least Jodha is perceiving that Jalal is upset over something and is drifting away from her. He has hinted to her many times that she is hiding the truth. Even if she doesn't get any doubt that he probably knows about her secret, why doesn't she ask him what he is so upset about and what he thinks she is hiding? When Jalal was upset about Sher Shah Suri, she had asked him the reason behind his anger. Why are the CVs gagging her now?
Like I said earlier, the CVs are hell bent on making her deaf, dumb and blind around Jalal.

I wish some hints are given..NOW..atleast..!!
I would like to mention that, Till Now, Jalal did not ask her about this issue directly.
He asked once in hojra, but that was too lightly. That time matters did not escalate..No Abhay.. as far as Jalal was concerned at that point the matter hadn't escalated because he knew not of Jodha's meeting.. but her answer was a lie yaar... and you can put this which ever way.. but, it doesn't change the fact that it was...yes there were different reasons for it...but can you imagine what he'd be going through when he comes to know the one person he was growing to trust the most is lying..so, when he found out that she was hiding something, I don't find it wrong for him to wait for 2-3 days to see if she'd come to him to say it...in the meanwhile his insecurity is also killing him..and also, I was meaning to ask you this🤔... is it even vaguely possible for Mughal Begum to be going out alone or after wards going living alone in jungle.. please mat bol ki aise bhi tumne kuch padaa..
During Aarti scene she started telling him about danger to his life...But there Sujamal's name came in between and u know she was like shocked/afraid😉, hearing that. Again Jalal left in anger before the talk could move on.!..
Next, Jalal told that he is upset 'coz she left harem on flimsy grounds(i mean she did not tell her the truth, and left from that place also..!!...)
What i am saying is i found the situations in all these meetings slightly absurd.!..😕..
The CV's were hell-bent at torturing us...😕
Btw, tomorrow we can see that, Will she stay QUIET or will she say something in her defence that i am helpless right now,... OR...I will tell u later...OR...I am NOT doing anything wrong...OR...Any other "dilaasa"😉...All these issues will be addressed tomorrow...
If she tries then fine...Otherwise we already have a spoiler about Jungle outing...
If something is inevitable we have to watch it..😕...I personally do not want any bansihment..
We ll be back to search positivity there also from your posts..
My only complaint after all this is from the spoilers.. that state that Jalal apologizes to everyone for his fault - Jodha, Sujamal everyone Sujamal is an enemy of the state.. he attacked Mewat..so, I don't understand what exactly wrong has Jalal done in this track so far...is it that he didn't ask her directly... but then, he did and she lied the first instance (for whatever reason) ...And if he is apologizing why isn't she for hiding it from him? Not fair!

Sad but true. Even worse fact is most SWs are women esp Ekta production house.😭😭 The deliberate attempt to play down one character against another is so pitiful esp when the story is about both of them. Can you remember a single Jodha dialogue as much as you can recollect nearly all of Jalal's dialogues?
Exactly... I have no qualms about her meeting sujamal.. being in a dilemma.. being scared.. committing mistakes.. they're all human traits (though actually not what she was when the serial started) but, still...Jalal committed a lot of mistakes during Tasneem and Ben, but he took the blame sought forgiveness - and Jo (and most of the audience) have forgiven him...
If she accepted her faults at the end of this and apologized, I'm sure Jalal would be flat.. and we'd all love her.. (feel like running and giving her a hug in fact 😆)
Instead, again she's proved right and he's saying sorry sorry sorry mujhe maaf kardo sab
my only complaint is why is HE turned culprit at the end of it all and apologizing ALL THE TIME ..
