Emperor is blind

Now this is too much they are giving so much screen space to jodha...like emperor was blind and he dont know that slave trading is running in his kingdom till jodha came and told him...

not only jalal but hamida salima etc all are unaware????

He knew slavery was prevalent in the kingdom...but till now everyone told him this was the norm...now jodha is trying to show him different perspective that is it...now its upto jalal to accept it or not...so no way anyone is taking credit from akabar .

no, its not shown that shahenshah is unaware of the slave trade, but he was surely unaware of their miseries. which jodha is showing.
she is trying to make him understand that by winning and bringing people into the harem he is successful as victor, but he is looser when he fails to treat human as human. I want to quote when jalal instructs and tells that once the kingdom is won, then those people also become his people, so it is the duty of the king to give them the dignified life. Also he too believed that people working in the harem worked with their heart and soul. This is the first time he is seeing that they are working out of compulsion

No neither emperor is blind nor all credit is going to jodha..jodha mentioned abt the lady who was working for 35 yrs and even mentions that he was not even born at that time.so slavery system was prevelant since humayun's reign n akbar never looked after haram.he might have just accepted it as custom and now he is going to see consequences . N as jodha said she cant do anything abt outside,,so i think she will abolish slavery in haram n jalal in kingdom.
