Pls let us not call TE Jodha's poodle - I do agree that his and Salima's voting for Ruqs on Jodha's say so was not right but my opinion is that both did so to protect Jodha from Ruqs since both have realised from the murti kaand how negative Ruqs is to Jodha.

I think had Ruqs become the harem in-charge again, both TE and Salima would have kept her under constant surveillance and one wrong step and TE would have thrown her over and put another in-charge. There is a time for confrontation and a time for conciliation and this was not the time for confrontation with Ruqs - that needs more finesse

adi, i do hope that our TE is shown to make some changes in the laws such as pilgrimage tax and some other administrative reforms, i do not want cvz to show him under jo's complete influence and all credit going to jo!..i want to see two strong characters supporting each other and helping each other to rise and not giving bhashans to become a saint..i want to see some realistic scenes as per history!

He had 2 attempts made on his life in Delhi too I think - both were through attacks in public places - one was definitely after MA's death and another was after he had come from the friday namaz I think.

Other than these, there were some attempts to even poison him I believe - but none of these attempts were effective.

Yes...Adi he had MANY attempts on his life more than what i wrote..
I mentioned only those which i got in the account.

Btw, this friday namaz attack is new for me. thanx for this.

Does this one involves Man Singh also..?..in rescuing him...?..

I cant recollect it..or i am getting confused here...??...

I am leaving. Will check as i get back.!.

What I actually meant is that things will be better plained and I even mentioned that Jodha might keep different Begums on different departments. I dont want to see Jodha teaching Jalal on administration, it should be the other way around. Jodha is inexperience with the running of the harem and knows nothing about the Mughals laws and culture which I think will get couching from Jalal

Loved your positive take👏 . And beautifully written ( what's new? 😊)
I see this as Jodha's rise through the hierarchy. Her second step ( after becoming khass begum) towards the ultimate goal...Malika. This will bring out her leadership qualities and give her a chance to prove her understanding of Mughal siyasat. Quoting a beautiful dialogue by Jalal during Ratanpur track ' hum kisi ko bhi who cheez nahi dete hain jis ke liye usne mehnat naa kee ho...apne balboote haasil naa ki ho. Fir chaahe who Zameen ho, kila ho, daulat ho yaa mohabbat.' Well this is probably the begining of Jodha's journey to earn the title of Malika.

Rukkiya made a tactical blunder...Ja-Jo will have less time but more reasons to see each other. We'll probably get to see our Teda emperor summoning the 'kaafi khoobsoorat' harem warden frequently to ' discuss urgent siyasat related matters'😊 He is already suspicious of Rukkiya's intentions and will probably be more protective towards Jodha.
However, I have to say that I didnt like the way they ended this harem election track. They could have done it without showing electoral fraud. It is damaging to Jalal's, Jodha's and Salima's characters who are otherwise shown to have high ethical standards.

As lng as jdha and jalal fight together as a team, i am happy but hopefully no MU and no SEPARATION track.

I did not really like how jodha told salima and jalal to vote for ruq. I understand that it was her noble intentions but felt that election was not fair and if jodha requested jalal and salima they did not have to yield to her. They should have said we understand but we cannot do this bec its not fair to other begums who wants fairness or justice. But, may be jdha did not really think there would be a tie and these 2 votes were imp.

We have to take the story as we are shown. There is neither any point in being pessimistic nor in waiting with bated breath for an MU. If everybody is just waiting for an MU, every episode will look like a starter of an MU. better to wait and watch the turn of events with optimism!😃

Its kinda become a routine now to read @divyavm posts before i go off to bed and come online as soon as I wake up to read ur posts and get ur take on the episode 😆 to see I am not the only one finding the epis progressive and interesting too

One sentence of yours sums up my expectations or opinions about the coming episodes and ongoing episodes respectively and that is

In fact, external turbulence can actually enhance and make love between two people very poignant.

Looking forward to the jashn and whatever melodrama it brings our way, so yea this fellow eternal optimist would gladly like to join u in ur happy expectation place devoid of all the negativity 😃

Thanks

That's the spirit! It takes more mental strength and caliber to be optimistic than pessimistic!

Thanks Mandy!😛
