We were discussing Snape...Harry Potter...his one sided love for lily that adi said was not epic...the reason because of which he lived a life as a double agent saving lily's son harry from voldemort throughout his life while being hated by everyone as they thought that he was on the side of the villain. He lived a life of perpetual danger with death hovering over his head every second and he had to retain a negative image of himself even in the mind of the boy he was saving as the villain could mind read the boy easily. He did so much for the love of his childhood friend who fell in love and married somo one else.It was Snape's one-sided love story that I called sensational.😭

Since I'm the most avid follower of HP, my reactions -> 😳

I am not on hookah to call Ruqs' love as anything near epic or sensational...😭😭😭.🤣I am critical of Jo only because the situations that highlight her are clichd and contrived, not that she is wrong. In fact she is unbelievably perfect. 😲While I do have a little soft corner for the character of Ruqaiya, I will be the last person to call her selfless. Nowhere in my comments in aunty's previous thread or in this have I spoken of Ruqaiya as deserving . My only complaint was against Jalal of whom I expected a little more.😕

Ok ok I thought you were saying Ruq-Jalal is epic 🤣 ...But yes, their pushing pulling were intense scenes... 😕

the only pushing pulling I see happening between Jalal and Jodha as of now is it Jodha sits on a swing and Jalal offers to push it for her like KG kids do 😭

Fine , if epic is not the word I would call it intense and most earnest. Certainly a 100 times more than what jo is ever likely to feel for jalal in this epic love story. 😕

I actually find Jo quite relatable. Why do people feel she is unbelivebly perfect? I can easily find so many faults with her... hiding a lil boy in Harem, meeting a wanted criminal under the guise of distributing prasad...election fixing... but she is good at heart. and once she loves, it will be for always.

The criminal bounced on her when she was distributing the Prasad. Election fixing as relationships are more valuble... You can question her actions...NEVER her intentions. She is perfection-personified. Can you tell me ANY heroine in any story/movie/ reality who is so talented, golden-hearted, compassionate and perfect that even perfection shies away in shame?

If at all she was a little harsh on Jalal in the start and middle, it was because he was cruel and at fault and she made a great emperor out of that worthless, unkind, unjust, brainless tyrant. That is why in all due respect we call her a mahaan devi.
