Jalal at the mazhar and astral scene ... swept away 90% of our anger at him in ben track na. It brought out his state of mind and emotional turmoil resp for crass behaviour and mental paralysis during ben track. Even those who were boiling at jallu melted down considerably. The ben track for its irritating stretch did wind up well though with a lot of drama.

May be he will have an emotional convo with ruqs after she reaches the nadir which will explain his behavior to her so far. That is what I gathered from that guy's words. He was ready to swear that ruqs is certainly a good character whatever she does is out of a deep love. She is not evil but will commit more blunders and jalal will sort it out with her amiably. The main characters will not be compromised and ruqs will not be let down finally.. ( what about jallu's semi-active semi-hibernating brains😭)

Don't know if he was lying as I accused of jallu as a bad friend but if he was then he is an expert liar as he sounded to know the story from the start very well and sounded so genuine.

Gayatri, it's not so much about him making those remarks in passing as it is about him understanding her. Can we watch our best friends self destruct and then go about romancing someone else in peace ? They were like two sides of the same coin. Where is jalals pain ? The thing is he still hasn't understood why ruk is doing all this . It needs more than a passing remark. He needs to tell her that it hurts him to see her so. Only then will she stop . The time for him to be irritated with her is long gone. Now seeing the depth to which has stooped has to hurt him. Not irritate , this is not a child's game. My two cent :)

Agree with what u say , but only if in the case that Ruq is in love with Jalal. Only Smiley ki Ruqs gave signs of that . The current Ruqs has never shown signs of love nor has she shown any sensitivity towards Jalal when he was in distress. She tended to believe his 'humara paas dil nahi hain' statement & acted accordingly. Seeing this, am also tempted to think that RuqLal s friendship was more of the brains & less on sensitivity from both sides. Cant give any other explanation, especially seeing that an usually perceptive Jalal has never managed to find out that Ruq was in love with him all these years. So where s the room for the guilt, hurt etc... 😕

This is what both ja and ruq are doing to each other so far. Their biggest problem and biggest strength is their long association with each other.

I expected a little more understanding from jalal as he has of late displayed a lot of it to jo and others too and has become nyay-priya. And he has a share in turning ruqs against jo right from the start of the show.

Pride rudeness possessiveness are all certainly negative traits, but do not make you evil or unworthy of loving or being loved. You don't have to be an ultra-perfectionist to be capable of loving or being loved either. Neither do you jave to be a shaayar or chant hamein prem hai. 'Keemthi cheez' seems to be anothe nail. But if a person's words alone are what defines them then the most glib talkers will be the best humans.

More or less what am saying, Adiana , about Ruq s love/nonlove for Jalal .and ur quote on love, the last lines, it doesnt apply to Ruq s certainly , but to Jalal it does seem to reflect. But my big question is , does Jodha s words & deeds mostly display any of these either with regard to Jalal
