i guess i am playing devil's advocate here... but if jalal was not sure of his feelings himself how and what could he share with ruk?

the infamous dhakka incident then benazir situation and jodha acting nuts (according to him) and then finally coming close to loosing her... the man barely got any time to think straight.

waise in real life too... sometimes your best friends will be the last people to know about your love life. wonder why?

MADDI good point , i read your posts

suppose jalal not tell as a friend ruk knows jalal is now liking jodha.

as a friend, as a wife, as a begum why she not accepting jodha, as a friend she can some change herself. why she listening Maham. &adopting ideas to which will hurt jalal. as a friend we not hurt our friend, direct talk sometimes when needed.

I think his feelings overwhelmed him and when they went to Sikri and he heard the Baba C prophecy that grounded him somewhat gave him hope for a future with Jodha

I don't want him to say anything to Ruk he should talk to Jodha only about love first

Best friends knowing I don't know, she has got an inkling but fears losing her audha not him and he does not want to share cos she is behaving this way. So how can he trust her to respect his feelings?!
