LOVED THEIR RELATIONSHIP! Yup...

I liked the balance between Jodha and jalal today ...he remained embroiled in matters of the state and she in matters of the harem...and yet both were there for each other at the right times!

Loved Jalal's supportive stance for Jodha at different points - neither overt nor subtle- just right...he warned Jodha about Ruqs today too...so, me thinks he's just alerting one wife to the others' kaabiliyat like a coach would before a tense match! With Ruqs he does it with a smirk and with Jo he dons a frown!

Seen Jalal in many a kashmakash and Jo maarg-darshing him...today Jo in kashmakash and jalal marg darshing her...

She stumbles he catches her, he stumbles she catches him...his family members wrong her, he stands by her...her family members wrong him, she stands by him! I loved how he let her be and how she let him be today...very matured dialogues, discussions and all their statements befit their statuses!

No one over-shadowed the other...today was the episode epic journeys are made of (no, not love stories...but, journeys yes!)

The sujamal angle made it very thrilling, Jodha's acting (swallowing her grief) in that scene was stupendous as was Jalal's angry emotional turmoil after having lost his cousins. Btw, how sexy did he look touching the blade of his sword as he questioned her?

P.S, what was that tender hand-on-shoulder in front of taraazu all about? 😉

Didn't hb or salima know about the baandhies of the harem? Wasn't hb more capable of harem management if ruqs was that bad. Couldn't the other begums appeal to the queen mother all these years.

I was just thinking of attemting to write about thier relation, understanding, concern and support and you just wrote about it and I couldnt stop myself from replying.

we should apprecaite the CV's for showing this understanding.

1. Jalal looks back at Jodha and nods before he goes out of DEK (i guess am right here). It shows how much each others approval/consent matters to them.

We could see Jodha was waiting to know what he feels and he just nooded and said you did right. And Jodha was releived taking his consent.

2. Taraju: We have always seen Jalal near the taraju and Jodha giving bhashan. Today it was the other way. One more thing common in them isnt it. both go to Taraju when they are not able to decide and needs to do justice.

How wonderful their relation is. He knew what subjects are close to her and said those. They are there for each other when needed and also give space. He didnt force his decision nor his wish. He just gave her advice and his support.

This was such a wonderful and mature talk. This shows the depth of thier relation.

And the other reason i liked this was - I want Jodha to know how difficult it is to manage people. I want her to know its not always heart but need to use brains too. And i hope this responsibility/challenge teaches this lesson to her.

3. Weapon room - Jalal says i am releived now after hearing your decision after Jodha says you can punish Sujamal if he has killed soldiers by chal.

Doesnt it show how much they care for each other. He doesnt want to hurt her at any cost. Just loved thier conversation here too. They need to balance thier relation along with his duties as shehenshah. Both are hurt - Jalal because his soldiers are killed and he lost the battle and Jodha because his brother will be punished. But both need to do their duties though it hurts them.

Come on pallo, how else can ruqaiya be wiped off completely from jalal's life? She has to be blackened tar black, made to lie, made to do cheap tricks, so that jalal and the viewers can throw her off mercilessly without any guilt and consider her good riddens.
