I feel before making such comments on any particular community, high degree of maturity should be displayed. 😊
What they are showing or not, it's for "BOTH" the clans.
But speaking openly and in such a sense, does not convey a correct meaning. 😕
Regarding Rajputs, they were inducted by Akbar in his service HIMSELF, and he spent 1556-1580 almost 24 years in controlling them, when he was in his PRIME..!..And, his could finally settle in 1585-86.
I won't write more. But something on POLITICAL FRONT only.
I feel the CV's are portraying "serial" Akbar with DECENCY on this political front ATLEAST .
Infact, they have shown him fine till now.
As for Rajputs winning the land for Akbar, it was the Rajputs who assisted in the most dangerous campaigns, especially from North-West. . Be it Gujarat, Bengal, Kabul, Lahore, etc. etc. more are there.
Later, many MAIN CRITICAL subahs were under their subedari.
BTW, Rajputs and Akbar relations are well known.
6 generations of Amer clan fought for Mughals, despite Aurangzeb's indifference to an extent.
As for jawai sa,😉 it was Bhagwan Das who saved his life in Battle of Paronkh, risking his own life.
Also, another Rajput Raja also lost his life in this battle as he fell short of supplies, but did not leave his front.
And, later in 1574-75 around it was Man Singh who repeated this act.
In the battle of Gujarat/Sarnaala, it was Bhagwan Das who stood side by side with Akbar in entire battle, and Man Singh who led the forces.
Finally, atleast they were better than following:
Adham Khan
Munim Khan
Shahabuddin
Maham Anga
Mahachuchak Begum
Mirza Hakim
Abul Maali
More are there, don't remember now.😆
Atleast Akbar got loyalty in Rajputs, which he RARELY got in his most close relations.😆
I have more examples, but this was just to highlight some neglected points.😉
I have no issues,😆 but writing all this today, because this was NOT first such type comment, which i read today, and left a bad taste.😕

Hi,
No. It was not a matter of religion or something like that. Keeping it brief. My reply was from a different angle, and I cleared in the comment that my reply was on political matter only.😊
But, if you read the last para of her writeup, it was a strong one, not portrayal . 😕
There is some other word here.

So, just replied on that
POLITICAL FRONT.
And, regarding, your point in
bold. History is constant. 😊 It just happens once.
And, here we were talking on POLITICAL accomplishments. And, that is bound to remain same.
Atleast political accumen is NOT a matter of how one sees it or hears it. 😊 It is the same.
If someone wins a war in history, that would remain same..😊

Abhay

I didn't mean it a theoretical way dat history chages..u r right. if someone wins d war it remains d same..we got indipendence n 1947..it's a fact..but hw we got it, it changes with people's mindset..most of dembelieves dat its becoz of our freesdom fighters..few beleives dat it'becoz brtish exploited our all wealth, dey left by their own will..dat's why I said historydoes change with people's mindset sometimes..
Before, i start, i must say, atleast some members here interact quite
decently. 😊
Now, coming to your above comment. I had already said, in my previous reply that, i wrote mere POLITICAL facts in the first reply. And, aapka comment, was about how people want to read/see history.😊 So, i mentioned that seeing/reading history won't change the political facts. I was talking in context of
my political reply. Certain things are so clear, and EVEN if they are STILL doubted then, nothing can be done.😕

Also, again you have given some reasons, for us gaining independence:😕(i know you took it as an example)
1. Due to freedom fighters
2. Due to wealth exploitation
3. They left on their own.😲
First, there is no confusion atleast in this SIMPLE matter,😕 that how we got independence. First time i am reading that even this is under garb of MULTIPLE THEORIES.. It was not due to any single reason.
But, the third reason appears to be totally, off the mark.🥱 They did not leave on their own.🥱 If that was the case they could have left after the
First World War also, and infact before the war they had promised Indians of widespread autonomy in manning administration. But, instead they gave us
Rowlatt Act, and as a consequence
Jallianwalla Bagh case. 😕
Even after/during
Second World War, they tried every move to manipulate, from various plans -
August Offer, Cripps Proposal, Cabinet Mission, Wavell Plan. And, then finally the Dickie Bird Plan.
In a span of 4-5 years sending so many plans speaks itself, what they wanted...!.. So, let's not jump in this issue.
I don't know about others here, but atleast the issue how we got independence is clear. (Atleast, this is not controversial.😊).
There were reasons associated due to world politics as well. Britain got Labour Gov. in power under Atlee, and MAJOR reason, British Empire's might was totally destroyed in this War.
Right from 1857 to 1947, at each and every stage they have just tried to control Indians, be it
1. Regular Indian Council Acts
2. Strong Legislations
3. Policy of Divide et Empera / Elphinstone Doctrine.
Formation of revolutionary org., democratic org., etc. ar also responsible.
Overall, it is clear..!!!. And, not a matter of debate, until deliberately called for.😊.
I just stop here. This was not a part of discussion.🥱
BTW, if i consider the above points as controversial, 😕 then i feel someday, even American/ French/ Russian Revolutions would also be doubted...?..?...🤢..
Also, if we consider
people's view here then, certain
people say this also that Nehru Ji accepted Dickie Bird Plan due to Lady Mountbatten.😆🤢.
Sorry, but the above example was NOT at all apt here.😕 And, the reasons are quite clear provided one has read on this subject.
**********************************************************************************************************
Regarding changing of history.
I won't buy that general notion, which many share. I used to have this perception BEFORE i read deep on certain topics, but NOT now, to an extent. History is
NOT such a
BIG deal to understand that
EVERYTIME, it's put to test, and
doubted🥱. Coming back to the main topic, from where this discussion started, i feel those political facts were NOT disputed at all.😃. And, reading "that" comment,
anyone can understand what it depicted,
either it was portrayal or something else.?😕. I won't speak as a "note" has been put on that on the previous page. 😊
**********************************************************************************************************
I did not want to reply to this, but
EVEN disputing a well-established fact in really not acceptable.

Abhay

I sincerely think that ONLY those who have knowledge of history should talk about it like Abhay, Kamal, Lizzy, Jodah, Stargirl etc.
I got interested in history and I have to admit I changed my view of REAL Akbar AFTER watching the serial and reading the posts of these guys.
I realised how tolerant and forward thinking he really was
So kudos to serial for this
Our favorite serial is already facing so much trouble from various things
We should not add to that
We comment on the day's episode or week's episodes and are always very candid as it should be
However, even I have to concede that CVs cannot please viewers all the time, those who want war scenes and hate haram will complain about those, those who want to see love story progress will complain about the political MUs and so on and on
This is the time OUR serial needs our support
Just remember our wonderful leads, support cast and entire crew not to forget all the people who go on to create and bring this to us working hard
Their livelihood depends on this work and I am sure even they will be tensed with all the goings on
I hope Zee sorts out the issue soon and Ekta is back as producer and this entire matter about protests is solved amicably
Since today is the date of movie release, hope not but we should brace ourselves for protests
LETS not add to the situation and comments should not be hurtful
Maddy,
I am replying late to this. But, one thing i write, for your first line, 😊 that all can share opinions, but
Freedom of Expression, does not means that it is absolute, and that too should be an informed one on certain issues, not an uninformed one.😕 There is freedom to write, as per rules.
No freedom means write anything.🤢
Just burying this matter finally now, from following ::
Neither I, nor other 2 members who write with me, claim any professional degree in history, which we have mentioned before. Also, there is nothing like only a prof. or a historian can possess knowledge of the subject. A historian has knowledge of total history in totality😊 but a researcher may have more info on ONE particular topic.
BTW, Just for mentioning, we have also been taking help from scholars of Osmania and other reputed universities. (quoting now, though did not want to write this.)🥱
Also, No one
forces anyone, to
gulp down history.
It's one's own wish to read what is written, but yes it's also
NOT prohibited to give view over a totally controversial point.
Was relieved that , we all are only interacting ONLY through digital medium.😃
(otherwise WW-3.😆.) On top of that, writing such things, when
members themselves interact on those historical threads and after that these views.🤢
There was also a talk of
proofs plundering the forum. ROFL.I know who was being quoted there.😉 BTW, atleast some members have the credibility to support their arguments with valid sources.😊 And, do not write any inflammatory remarks..!..
BTW, Maddy, i have no plan to write Fan Fictions, neither i did in past nor planning for future.😉The serial is in times of need and requires support.
So, as you said in your comment, i am in total agreement with your views.😊

@Lashy di...Please, DON'T be Sorry. Your post was not meant to hurt anyone.
It was in good humour, as it, always is. 😊
