I loved this chapter. The first part was a riot. Specially this sentence "Both were blinded by jealousy - yes, to a certain extent by the flower vase in the centre - but, mainly by jealousy." Please! Let Jodha say every thing on her mind without filter. Pretty Please😳

Shraddha one of the best chapters i have read till date...loved how jalal got pissed off and possessive of jodha...but i wish he dosnet turn into someone who is like yeh pehno,woh mat karo etc etc...thats just a turn off...and i seriously was not expecting jodha's drink to be spiked...man u took me by surprise...and i am def sure ismain bechare shareef ka koi haath nahi hai...

See Aanchal, what you saw here was a protective Jalal not a possessive Jalal...If Jodha decided to wear even miniskirts tomorrow, he'd have no issues with it.. he'd even have no issues if someone handsome guy walked up to her to compliment her ... he'd only have issues if SHE started reciprocating the attention/affection to some other guy..

here the case is different...shareef is sick and Jalal knows he can be up to no good... that's why he says the one day she wears such a sexy dress she goes to sit next to him.. not 'why is she wearing such a dress'

Writer-e-khaas, loved part 24! I enjoyed their jealousy so much- unlike the Ben track which was so distasteful. Jealousy ho to aisi

My favorite line:

Had it not been so, the usually 'perceptive' Jodha could have grasped that Jalal's participation in his conversations were purely formal. Had it not been so, the 'smart' Jalal would have had no trouble noticing Jodha's hidden disgust in her interactions with Shareef. On the contrary, everything appeared exaggerated for both - a smile was beginning to resemble a giggle and a giggle a laugh - a mere brush resembled a touch and a touch something more!

What an interesting twist to get Jodha-Jalal closer together ... Can't wait for fiesty Jodha's response!

Heee hee thanks pallavi...so hopefully this chapter was worth it...you know, I wasn't sure of this chapter for some reason... I mean I was quite confident of previous ones..like the breakup waalaa and the football one..but, this one I must have redited about 25 times last night...

😕 What is the reason? Too much pressure to handle? Was the public demand becoming havi on you to write a lovey-dovey chapter Or where you forced by forum friends to give an update soon?(I am not one of them though)🥱🥱🥱 All the three or something entirely different😕

No no you got me wrong... its not cos of the pressures of HAVING to produce romance and all... this story's backdrop is romance in a realistic set up... The entire story (all 50 chapters) have already been pre-decided and so have the characters.. including Miss Giggles... so, even if a few readers are disappointed with a few chapters here and there I can't change the story because those 'aspects' are required for the story to move forward... when you look back at 50 chapters, one would realize it'll be the coming-of-age falling-in-love kind of story its meant to be😳

The pressures I felt for this part was because..theres a lot of subtle emotions to be depicted (from Jodha/Jalal's point of view.. not mine, as a writer's) within 2 pages... depicting how a strong woman deals with bad news in the presence of a man who's 'special' to her is tougher than depicting a more typical drama scene... depicting his initial disappointment that then becomes empathy that then transforms to cheerfulness... is again subtle...

so, its difficult to write subtle emotions - that's what I was saying...sorry if the explanation got too long..😳

Jalal is not jealous of Shareef..he is more protective of Jodha...maybe to a certain extent possessive (when she laughed at his jokes) but then again, he'd have no issues if Jodha laughed at Abdul's or anyone else's jokes...so yeah...I think its mainly protectiveness he felt since he knows the kind of guy Shareef is... 😊

Jodha is becoming jealous of Giggles and possessive of Jalal, that's for sure...
