Thanks and thanks for posting!

i feared while they were talking abt who called whom, that dhakka incident will come up once again... but seems Jalal feels something fishy and concludes that someone with good (?) intentions has done it to bring them closer...

He actually referred to that night but it was very subtle ... Like that memory is really fading. Yes, they def concluded that it was someone with good intentions- and even our Moti made the list! I kind of liked how he referred to as a sakhi instead of a baandhi- no wonder Moti takes so much liberties with him 😆

but now i want him to think more on these terms abt that dhakka incident too, that may be Jo was telling right that time... and his badi ammi with her good (?) intentions of bringing them closer (or create rift btw them) may have read the letter wrong...

Yes, hope he makes the link ...if she told the truth this time, why would she lie last time- but that may be more logical than we can hope for!

com on, i want him to use his brains now...

His brains are waking up ...

anyway... Jo's last confession has clearly told him abt the insecurity she still feels abt him in her life, and now he has to do something to assure her , support her and make her trust him, so that she can confess her love directly...

and i think now Jallu will try just that...

Fingers crossed- but it was obvious today what her hesitation was - you always had a great take on what Jodha's hesitations were!

CV's are 🥱..

That's what i have written in this comment..😕
That 5000 women are not his Begums or kaneez..😕

And, even this 5000 was NOT EVEN possible. Going by size of Fatehpur Sikri..!😆!.
I have written this clearly in my comment ..

Even i have given reference from Fatehpur Sikri archives in the comment...😕

https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/101736216

Abhay, I am sorry if I was confusing- I was referring to your line from your link:

Abul Fazl DID Not say that these are concubines.
Though he puts the number at 5000, but that is again not in a literal sense, and he does NOT say these are concubines. Also, seeing the size of the Imperial Harem complex, this number isvastly exaggerated by Abul Fazl, just for showing the "might/praise" of His Majesty. 😆

Even if it was exaggeration, the CVs can point to the 5000 right? The CV s take a point and stretch it to its extreme!

I also agree its extreme.

Abhay ask Ela about this.
She mentioned to me once she went a saw the Agra haram and it is bad like too crowded and they used to keep 3-4 in one room something like this

Even with 3 women in one room there is not enough space in Sikri to house 5000 women. And I can't imagine royal women like Hamida Banu or Ruqaiya sharing their quarters with 2 other women. We already know for a fact that many of the top royal women had many other palaces so why would they accept such cramped quarters.

Abul Fazl says that each of the women had decent apartments with balcony and gardens so things get strange.

If you want ridiculous, how about this. According to Jahangir in his memoirs, Man Singh had 1500 wives and between 200 to 300 children.

The hindu ruler of the temple city of Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu, had 700 wives and 15,000 concubines. Most of these are obviously exaggerations. Logic should be used in judging how accurate they are.

Yes Maddy.
I and Donjas were also discussing this. 😊

Also, this Agra Fort and its harem has long history.😕
It expanded later, a lot, under Shah Jahan.🤢
(can't write more here. Or Divya will be after me with her stick.. 😆 )

But, the point was, in the show CV's should not have used that 5000 clause to in "THAT" manner to show as if all were his wives or kaneez. 😕
Don't you feel so.?.

Tamy tu aa gayi! There was so much demand for your post!

How happy I am today..I was out day long..got back to hotel an hour back, caught the epi, posted to Ela Di's post and now here I am😳

About time! 😊

The boat ride and the convo between JJ r very sensible and nice😳 only thing bothered me was the usage of BDs...I hate it when they use BDs in JJ scenes...😡I just can't concentrate on anything but BDs

I concentrated on the dialogues ... It's okay, the leads can have scheduling conflicts once in a while .. But only a few times. I think they were together by the end and by god what magic they created.

Anyway other scenes were so beautiful that helped me forgiving CVs😛
How dignified was Jodha today brushing Ruqu's hands off and retorting her her back? Go Jodha go..that is what u! Classy and dignified and how insulting was Ruqu to drag Jodha into Jalal's hojra? Will she ever learn?😡

She was dignity personified!

I loved loved loved Jalal today..the way he kept smiling at Ruqu's tantrums and agreeing with Shahbuddin on the khaas Begum part😉 Ruqu was going on and on and here our Jalal kept staring at Jodha with a smile on his face😆 I literally clapped when he said a khaas should behave like a khaas and inform him personally rather than sending bandi👏 Ruqu was already fuming then Shahbuddin's words added ghee in the fire🤣 I like this man...he not only replies to Jalal but adds on his own praising Jodha...wondering he is one of the azeez who wants JJ together😉

Jalal treated Ruqs perfectly- and did you see how I mentioned he didn't do what you coined as the lollipop treatment today? Yes, I am a fan of this Shahbuddin though I spell his name differently each time 😆

After Ruqu leaving, I adored Jalal for holding's Jodha's hands to make her feel good and not guilty...Jalal was superb today😳

awww it was so sweet - so much apnapan
Jalal is always a tedha and I love how Jodha falls into his trap every time 😉 he purposely brought Ruqu-missing-boatride topic, just to make Jodha blurt out the hidden feelings😆
And my my! She gave up😆 how adorably Jallu was smiling as if koi jung jeeta ho😳

I can't stop thinking about Jalal's smile! 😳

Precap: ya Allah yeh kahan agaye hum?🤔

For a change, ignored precap

P.S. I find the shamsher dialogue of Jalal in the boat ride very interesting..after saying it he looked at Jodha to read her whether she got his hint😳

She will be his new shamsheer ... His new mohabbat- teda ka teda hi rahega
P.P.S. how adorable Jodha looked turning back when the realization hit her?

Classic moment
P.P.P.S from yesterday I am noticing a huge change in JA...from all fronts..do u?😕

New track ... New tone. You could have said the same for the Ben track- it looked like everything changed! It's just in our heads with all the news- I think 😉
