Hey Mansi, good analysis... thus far i have watched the episode only once and that too just now ... normally before coming to forum i do watch it at least 3 times at night itself... but yest got home ard 1.00 am after party, and frankly was more interested in completing my sleep coz again i have to go to office in the morning today... so now while having lunch in my cabin, i watched JA on my laptop... and now i m bit free , so here i m back to forum..with my take.
ok, so on friday i had hoped that the sleeping arrangement scene is not yet over... but many felt it was... many ppl in forum had lost their hopes, and now i m sure few will remind me, see haven't we told u , Jalal doesn't care for Jo, and he will go and sleep with Ruku, leaving Jo to take care of her own... and so the truth is how much he says that he loves her , he will never change for her, he is still that selfish, rude Jalal... (i m not saying, but few members will say it... and i m not blaming them)...
Just that my point of view on all this is bit different..and before i write more abt it, i ll ask few questions and then will try to write my views..
1. he says that he loves her, but does he understands what love is?
2. isn't it that he thinks that he can't live without her , but has anybody ever told him that love means caring, trusting and sacrificing for the one whom u say u love?
3. does he know that loving somebody means accepting everything abt that person... good or bad?
4. does he knows, that when u say u love somebody, u should not take that person by just face value but try to understand the true meaning of his/her words?
5. does he know that when u love somebody, u should understand the unspoken feelings of that person, let it be happiness, pain, his/her desire?
6. does he know that loving a person does not necessarily posses him/her, but to set it free so that he/she can only turn back to u forever?
and if Jalal's reply is No to all these question , then where his love for Jodha stands? only that he thinks that if something happens to her , then he won't be able to live , but has he ever thought why? if not, then while we expect Jalal should do all romantic thing for Jo, that he should show his preference to Jo over ruku, then don't we expect much from him to do, that he actually can?
as i said, he may love Jo, or he feels that , but he is yet to understand the MEANING of the word... and so i won't blame him entirely for his behavior that he slept beside Ruku and let Jo be on her own..
first thing, he doesn't understand Jo, forget Jo, he doesn't understand anybody, not even himself... he believes what he sees or he believes only on them whom he can satisfy with materialistic things... he has never came across satisfying the feelings/emotions except his EGO... so now suddenly when he feels something abt Jo, we think he should understand everything abt her and do everything for her... but then one question... has Jo ever given him access to her innermost feelings? was she ever so much open to him, so he can understand her?
we say, she cares for him, but then she does it for everybody else in the world, not exclusively for him... has she tried to break the wall he has created around himself , so that nobody can break him? has Jo ever shown even her liking (not love) to him? has she ever made him feel comfortable or welcome to her? Ruku , who keeps demanding her audha and all but when it comes to him, then isn't Ruku the one who opens her arms for him? Let Jalal just say once that he wants to be with her, who will go with him without a word, Ruku or Jo? then when he is still not sure abt Jo's feelings, should we expect he goes after her when she says she will be outside?
i think we r rushing things, coz we r now desperate to see that love story , we were promised long back...but friends... not going to happen... both of them r learning to love... and coz Jo drank poison , we expect Jalal to forget everybody else, and just care for her, then he will never do it... if we r forgetting when both hated eachother, Jalal has faced the same deathbed in that tiger attack... Jo saved him then, Jalal did it now... so both stand at the same point ...
and abt him being Ruku, then, they r together long before he knew of Jo, and even after his marriage with Jo, Ruku was with him all the time, and will always be there come what may happen..so let's be sure, that he will not hurt Ruku to the core, he might be harsh or rude to her at times, still her place in life will be always the same as it is, even Jo will never be able to replace it ever...
so here i will try to reply ur questions as much i can..
What do I analyse today? I am short of scenes to analyse because not even one scene was worth a big analysis. So here are my ten questions that I can think of at the end of the episode.
1. Why did Jalal say nothing to Ruq? Why did he sleep with her leaving Jodha outside? Even if he thought Jodha wanted to sleep outside herself, shouldn't he have insisted that he would sleep outside but Jodha should be inside since she is the one who almost lost her life after drinking the snake venom and was in recovery even as late as when this trip began? Was it okay for Jalal and Ruq to not care about Jodha's health when they were both the beneficiaries of the snake poison drinking by Jodha? Would it not have been more romantic if Jalal were to have offered to let Jodha have the more comfy bed inside rather than merely stand and stare with longing at the outside-sleeping Jodha? Whose idea of romance is this? And as for Ruq she has returned home with the triumph that she has separated Jalal and Jodha, so what lessons has she learnt at all regarding etiquette and decency? Does Jalal feel good having a best friend with such pathetic manners and ethics? What does tolerance of Ruq's continued bad behaviour say about Jalal?
what u expect he will say to Ruku, when he hadn't heard Jo-Ruku talk? and how can he stop Jo, when Jo has not shown a bit interest in sleeping with him or even beside him? has Jo ever shown any interest in sharing room with him, forget bed? when Ruku is insecure abt Jo (knowing that Jalal loves Jo), will she ever want Jo to be in same room as of her and Jalal? what romance we expect, when Jo is yet unaware of her own feelings towards Jalal and Jalal has no guts to tell his feelings to Jo? why we expect him to defend Jo in front of Ruku, when he is not sure if Jo will approve it or not?
2. At the DEK sabha, I noticed that Jalal did not take Todarmal's name, so I presume Todarmal will not be mentioned openly except to Hamida at some point this week?
i think , first Jo will mention Todarmal to HB while telling abt the trip, and then may be HB will talk to Jalal and let him know the truth...
3. Again at the DEK, Jalal did not mention about these teerth yatra taxes on the Hindus which I thought was more a burning issue than the dakus?
right.. but i think before discussing that issue in DEK , he will talk abt it privately and will ask to interrogate it before discussion... coz this is related to one entire community, and he has to solve this problem without hurting anybody else
4. What will Jodha's answer be to Jalal's question in the precap?
i want her to say she liked the trip more coz it was WITH HIM...😉
5. Are we going to see enough of Jodha and Jalal in the coming week, or is the romantic season over - and only Sharif and Bakshi and Ruq will now dominate the rest of this week?
i think, romantic season is yet to come.. and that will be when all MUs will be cleared... and i feel right now one more MU is abt to come by the end of this week or in next week and now since they r back to agra, we r going to see everybody, with 1/2 AkDha scenes , may be daily...
6. Where is Rahim, the paigam, Shivani-Tejwant and the expose of Maham?
our wait is not yet over, it seems... may be few weeks more..😉
7. What exactly will be the plot of Ruqaiaya against Jodha at the "goad bharai"? Some petty insults at the ceremony amongst the women? Or something more deeplky evil like linking of Sharif and Jodha romantically to give Jalal some hint that Jodha and Sharif were too cozy with each other? Will Jalal only readily believe such concocted stories and thus give room for MU - or will he this time brush off all such stories about Jodha showing that he at least has progressed?
i feel, Ruku will taunt her abt not understanding what a mother can be as she hasn't let Jalal come near to her... i hope Jalal is not involved in it...and now since he knows that Jo is to be MUZ , so he will just ignore Ruku instigating him abt Jo...
8. Since the "goad bharai" is expected to be mostly an all-women's affair, will it be a tug of war with the women taking sides? With Jodha, Salima, Hamida on one side ... and Maham, Ruq on the other side?
it is possible... and it will be ok, just that i don't want Jalal involved anyway in it..and if Jo herself stands for her own self-respect, i will love her more.
9. Is there any hope of this week's remaining episodes having any new twist? Or is it all just going to be Javeeda-Adham kind of fillers with in between one or two lollypop romantic interludes between Jodha and Jalal?
may be if Ruku keeps insulting Jo abt not being close to Jalal and hence no chances of Jo becoming a mother, it may work on Jo as 'mirchi' , and may be she will understand her feelings for Jalal , finally and may be her wish to be a mother will become her top priority.. and anyway, she too knows the prediction abt herself, and it will work as fuel to fire..why not to expect...?
10. I am already at a low ebb today, how am I going to survive the prospect of a dull week? Does anyone have an idea how I can drink some snake venom myself and do some herogiri on the Forum just to keep everybody awake?

so now, i know, Mansi, u r not going to agree any of my point today... still u know when i saw that sleeping arrangement scene , how i felt...
for me Jalal sleeping besides ruku didn't matter (he is doing it for last 8 months , and we r watching him like that).. but later when he came out , and keeps looking at her, his face smiling.. that's the power of Jo, that just thought of her was enough to get him out of comfort of bed and Ruku's arms, and take him to Jo , and only her sight is enough for him to feel the peace and happiness he never felt in his life till date...
so i didn't feel bad after the episode... i m rather interested in her today's reply... want to see if she can tell him her feelings wrapped in words, and if he understands the meaning of it, or she will shy away without reply and change the topic...
