Finally someone who had a positive take on today's episode!
I loved it - the episode, and your analysis too.
I had a huge smile on my face while Jalal was reminiscing his special moments.
They were both on cloud nine, I tell you, and they took me there too! Oh the feeling of first love, of playing those silly yet so special moments over and over and over again.
And I loved the soul talk at the beginning - the words where she says she had gotten so close to him, or rather, gotten him ... it said SOO much. See, so far Ja has been on the realization route - Jo not so much. She's still wondering what she's feeling and why!!! Jeez gal - that so does not go with her character who's so smart, or tries to be.
But the soul talk, their SOULS starting to get together, even if they physically weren't, an observation by MA, was fantastic.
I didn't think it was too bad. A bit abrupt, and I feel the journey ended to quickly. I really would have liked to have seen/explored the following:
. How and where did they sleep the entire time on the journey.
. The morning after Ruqs interruption - how was the journey. Would have liked to see Jalal caring for the two ladies.
. More on the Sher Shah Suri track - I think that was a fantastic opportunity for an uncomfortable/comfortable sleeping arrangement track.
. Post MUZ declaration - any kinda self talk/thinking on Jodha's part. Does she know what that means?
And so many more - only because we all know Ekta is about to pull these to apart - RRRIPPP as I call it. Rip them apart by some MU that'll last for months, with lots of high drama and crying. The hurt will be far worse than the 'dhakka' for jalal, and worse than the war cry and victory where Sukannya's would-be husband was killed, for Jodha. Both will hate each other, feel betrayed, etc.
And then we'll see the MU cleared, all happy, and then as you said ... the CVs won't know what to do ... hehehehehe.
So, I'd rather live in this little land where they keep exploring new love ...
Speakiing of - don't you find it endearing that it's actually new territory for both? New emotions, love, being on cloud 9, always smiling, looking for the other, etc. It's endearing how both who have had pasts relationships - Jodha's engagement and feelings for her fiance, and Jala's wives - they're both new to this domain.
It feels so pure and unadulterated - I love it!!! Not that it wouldn't be just as good if it wasn't, I just feel when you experience it the first time, there's this element of mystery - you don't know how to proceed. The hesitancy, the lack of know-how makes it all the more ... alluring.
