After spending a weekend, thinking how Jalal will stand up for Jodha, we start the episode with Jalal sleeping next to Ruqs and Jodha sleeping outside- not what anyone expected or wanted. What can be done? Perhaps, this is what the CVs have left as the last stretch of Jalal's evolution of love towards Jodha- which is how he stands up for his love and learns to manage the relationship with Ruqs.

Yet, the episode was not that bad ... Imagine the episodes with Ben and you will get the point. 😉

So here is my take 5 for this episode:

(1) Repeated theme of Jodha-Jalal being close emotionally if not physically: One of the biggest evolutions in the Jodha-Jalal relationship is earlier they used to be close physically but not emotionally (Hamida Bano commented about this before they left for Ajmer)-now they no longer need to by physically close to feel each other around them. That was in essence the soul talk and of course MA reinforced the same to Ruqs. This might be the only reason the CVs did the first scene- I think it was to show that Ruqs could only separate Jodha and Jalal physically, but not emotionally and foreshadow how she will always fail to separate them. 😊

-- Beautiful take on the scene. Jalal has just started loving Jodha. He has still a long way to go in learning to deal with all his wives. He is still a young man caught up in his feelings...

(2) Jalal is always on Jodha's mind: It is so great to see how Jalal is always on Jodha's mind- in her conversation with Moti, Hamida Bamo, etc. What is even more endearing was how she remembers the little things about Jalal like a wife: that he likes to eat a little bit often. Everyone can see her face light up when she talks about Jalal. The shocking thing is the Jodha who seemed to know all about love yesterday is asking what she is feeling when she talks about Jalal- is buddhu ko kaun samjaaye? 😆

-- Ha ha... kya jodi hai!!!! They have these weird feelings always. 😆

(3) Jalal back in the hamaam (though he is hiding everything but his face 😉): If I remember right, this was the first hamaam scene after the Shove (if there were any during the Ben era I was not paying attention). Contrast the emotions and you can see Jalal is over the Shove. That Night he was fuming on Jodha that he will never forgive her and today he was serene and smiling thinking of his Jodha or rather his MUZ.

-- Jalal must be in heaven (pun un-intended 😉). The woman who is his love of life is also going to be the mother of his children.. beta... Mann mein laddoo phuta.. do do...

And unless I am delusional, the CVs added a new scene from the Dargah in the flashback that she was happy of what he wished for. Is this a new scene or did I just miss it yesterday?

(4) Aam is the new khaas: I loved the contrast of what is aam and khaas throughout the episode. Starting with how Ruqs and Jodha described their journeys of being aam, it continued throughout by how Jodha described her journey to Moti vs. Ruqs rants. The best contrast was Jalal in his hamaam thinking of Jodha making rotis for him as khaas and MA telling Ruqs that by making rotis she became aam.

-- Great observation on Aaam and Khaas. To some people what is aam is what is khaas for many others.

Less so a comparison between Ruqs and Jodha, I think that it highlights that it is the simple things that bring pleasure and happiness to Jalal and it was what he was deprived of. People around him like MA and Ruqs did not realize he was crazing for these simple things. It reminds me of a quote from one of my favorite movies Bawarchi: "It is so simple to be happy, yet so difficult to be simple."

(5) The precap was beautiful: it highlighted that Jodha-Jalal are having some beautiful conversations on their feelings and is another great step in their relationship. I believe Jodha will once again get away with a shy reaction but obviously she was more enamored with her companion than the safar itself as highlighted by the rest of today's episode. However, these folks are taking it slow ... We will just have to be patient.😊

-- Loved the way they were seated. Jalal sitting down and near Jodha's knees... One sign from her, he is ready to keep hi shead on her lap..

Trust me ... Knowing Ekta Kapoor, the longer it takes the leads to fall in love the better. After they fall in love, her CVs do not know what to do. 😆

The first scene brought down my respect for Jalal quite a few notches. A husband who proclaims to God time and again to keep him close to his beloved, behaves so unexpectedly when his beloved really needs him. 😕

He is in love but not the perfect husband yet ... Ironically, Jodha is behaving like the perfect wife but not in love yet. Kya kare is jodi ka?

I get the CVs were trying to show that what all Ruqu does she can't separate these two as they had spiritually become one, but was it necessary to do it this way? They could have shown that Jalal atleast protesting about this arrangement. But no, he meekily sleeps beside his BEK. 🤢🤢

I think the CVs wanted to make a profound point but failed in execution ... They can't have a 100% success rate. We Have to take it one episode at a time.

I hope the good CVs didn't go on vacation yet leaving the back-up crew behind that did the Ben track 😲 Just Kidding!

I am hurt today..more than angry..I am hurt..😭 I was hurt to see Jalal letting Jodha sleep outside..not for once he tried to stop her or spoke to Ruqu..it did disappoint me big time..but I find your logic best..may be CVs tried to show Ruqu can separate them physically, not emotionally..as MA said "dono ek doosrke khayalo mein baste hai"❤️

I'm angry at CVs ! they just edited the whole scene..when Jodha wakes up, the scene shifts to Adham ! what the heck was that ??😡 they didnt show us what happen afterwards! they didnt show us how JJ spent the night ? they didnt show anything.😡

I loved Jodha today..how happy she was...glowing like a newly wedded wife..better say newly in love teen !😳

she couldn't help singing praises of Jalal to Moti...how proud was she saying "woh bahut acche Shehenshah hai"..today she didnt mind Moti teasing her, rather was lost in Jalal's khayal...pehle toh Jodha started imagining Jalal (as banjara musician), then talking about him non-stop, recalling the moments they spent together, now singing his praises...only realization is left !😳 and see, how much she is glowing talking about Jalal to HB and Salima..anyone could read the love...awww... aur kitni buddhu hai Jodha Begum ! sabka bar bar batane par bhi samajh nahi parahi hai😉

How many people need to tell her she is in love - she better talk to Salima soon. and you know what I am watching the repeat telecast- she finally admitted her perspective on Shehenshah was wrong- miracles still exist!

HB is dreaming of Salim...so is Jallu..😆frankly, I loved the bath-tub scene..esp. Jallu thinking about the MUZ prediction...he was happy not only coz of becoming father but also his love will bear his child..this is such a wonderful feeling !❤️ he was on cloud 9..he was recalling the moments Jodha making rotis for him..she was being a wife..all that mattered to him.❤️

It was so cute ... Was this the same Jalal who said he would never forgive Jodha in the same tub!

Every time he trusts the wrong person we think this ... Every time he fails. But, let's be positive.

P.P.S. i'm bored with Ruqu-MA scenes...the same ghisa pita dialogues
