For me CVs wiped off last 2 weeks with the first sene today

A man who leaves his just recovering from death bed wife, who drank poison to save his life, whose life mannat he came to repay - he just dumps her to sleep outside in the open in unsafe area in decoits infested area, out where the bandis would sleep

While he sleeps cosily next to his BEK cosily

He was not sleeping cosily ... He was restless ... That is the only credit I can give Jalal. I think the CVs we wanted to show that Ruqs could separate them only physically but not emotionally. Unfortunately, they forgot it looked bad on Jalal as well.

This is supposed to be HIS love, I am sorry for me it is shallow and hen pecked

A man who can't stand by the one he loves even when her safety is involved is pathetic and his love is meaninlgess to me

You are absolutely right here- I think this is an area for Jalal to evolve his love- he needs to be able to stand up for his love in front of others. It might be what Jodha is waiting for and the next track may show.

After spending a weekend, thinking how Jalal will stand up for Jodha, we start the episode with Jalal sleeping next to Ruqs and Jodha sleeping outside- not what anyone expected or wanted. What can be done? Perhaps, this is what the CVs have left as the last stretch of Jalal's evolution of love towards Jodha- which is how he stands up for his love and learns to manage the relationship with Ruqs.

Dear Divya, I waited patiently till today to see some positivity in that scene and did not want to comment on Jalal's stand on Friday. But I am disappointed now . I was OK if Jalal did not tell anything to Ruq. But sleeping inside when Jodha was sleeping outside was not done. He could have at least thought of her safety if not anything else. If he was with her then I was fine. But how could he sleep inside when she was alone sleeping outside? I did not like this at all. Also the soul talk in the middle of that scene did not make much sense. It looked like they included that to defend Jalal's actions. Also I don't understand why they cut that scene abruptly. They could have at least shown what did they speak after Jodha opens her eyes and sees Jalal and they could have shown what happened later. Did Jalal stay with Jodha later or went back to khema? Why can not they complete a scene properly?
They came back to Agra pagal khana already. Now we have to only see Maham, Sharif, Adam and Ruq plotting against Jodha. Oh God, acche din kyon itni jaldi gujar jate hai? We get to see only one week of Jodha Jalal together after going through the torture for more than a month 😭😭😭. Today even your positivity is not cheering me up.

Yet, the episode was not that bad ... Imagine the episodes with Ben and you will get the point. 😉

So here is my take 5 for this episode:

(1) Repeated theme of Jodha-Jalal being close emotionally if not physically: One of the biggest evolutions in the Jodha-Jalal relationship is earlier they used to be close physically but not emotionally (Hamida Bano commented about this before they left for Ajmer)-now they no longer need to by physically close to feel each other around them. That was in essence the soul talk and of course MA reinforced the same to Ruqs. This might be the only reason the CVs did the first scene- I think it was to show that Ruqs could only separate Jodha and Jalal physically, but not emotionally and foreshadow how she will always fail to separate them. 😊

Your interpretation that the first scene is shown to prove that it's not possible to separate Jodha jalal physically is very interesting. But I am not convinced. I am scared to think about what is waiting for us now. If Jalal is shown as still not having faith on Jodha (after all the prayers and soul talks), it will leave bad taste in my mouth. I do not want to see typical Ekta's MU tracks. I am hoping for something better. But guess that's asking for too much

(2) Jalal is always on Jodha's mind: It is so great to see how Jalal is always on Jodha's mind- in her conversation with Moti, Hamida Bamo, etc. What is even more endearing was how she remembers the little things about Jalal like a wife: that he likes to eat a little bit often. Everyone can see her face light up when she talks about Jalal. The shocking thing is the Jodha who seemed to know all about love yesterday is asking what she is feeling when she talks about Jalal- is buddhu ko kaun samjaaye? 😆

Divya, you are very right. She is still confused about her feelings. I thought she knows clearly what she feels about Jalal on Friday. But no, our buddhu begum is still confused.😆

(3) Jalal back in the hamaam (though he is hiding everything but his face 😉): If I remember right, this was the first hamaam scene after the Shove (if there were any during the Ben era I was not paying attention). Contrast the emotions and you can see Jalal is over the Shove. That Night he was fuming on Jodha that he will never forgive her and today he was serene and smiling thinking of his Jodha or rather his MUZ.

And unless I am delusional, the CVs added a new scene from the Dargah in the flashback that she was happy of what he wished for. Is this a new scene or did I just miss it yesterday?

(4) Aam is the new khaas: I loved the contrast of what is aam and khaas throughout the episode. Starting with how Ruqs and Jodha described their journeys of being aam, it continued throughout by how Jodha described her journey to Moti vs. Ruqs rants. The best contrast was Jalal in his hamaam thinking of Jodha making rotis for him as khaas and MA telling Ruqs that by making rotis she became aam.

Very interesting thought. I liked the way you explained about aam and khaas and how certain things which are khaas for jalal is aam for everybody else (other than Jodha of course).

Less so a comparison between Ruqs and Jodha, I think that it highlights that it is the simple things that bring pleasure and happiness to Jalal and it was what he was deprived of. People around him like MA and Ruqs did not realize he was crazing for these simple things. It reminds me of a quote from one of my favorite movies Bawarchi: "It is so simple to be happy, yet so difficult to be simple."

(5) The precap was beautiful: it highlighted that Jodha-Jalal are having some beautiful conversations on their feelings and is another great step in their relationship. I believe Jodha will once again get away with a shy reaction but obviously she was more enamored with her companion than the safar itself as highlighted by the rest of today's episode. However, these folks are taking it slow ... We will just have to be patient.😊

Trust me ... Knowing Ekta Kapoor, the longer it takes the leads to fall in love the better. After they fall in love, her CVs do not know what to do. 😆
