Isn't the significance of the scene that he's stepping out of his 'royal' setting and preferring to come to her under the stars?
Waise, he was honouring her wishes since she said she wanted to step outside... he didn't see what happened before that inside - if he did, he wouldn't let it happen that way...he knows she's displeased but he'd guess its because of jealousy... let's see how he handles it...
Also, we're seeing this from the royal's perspective and a 21st century perspective... in polygamous settings where men didn't have a room for every wife etc (like there would be in a palace) if a husband and wife shared room tho rest of wives slept outside the room only... (from the words of my grand mom) and here its open khema with no door or anything...so, she's sleeping there...
They're in the banjaran's village-type setting na... so while as commoners they're sitting on the ground, selling jewellery for food, walking barefoot and even going to jail when not wanting to pay... this practise is not very different from that of what commoners would follow either... 😊 When I used to visit India as a kid, and there was no electricity even me, my bro and sis used to sleep out.. under the stars.. used to be better than inside the stuffy house 😆

I agree😳
@red I guess he could read the pain in her eyes and face...the crack in her voice cannot be denied.. Jalal toh Jodha ki ankhein padhsakta hai..yeh toh phir bhi bahut strong emotions hai.

but I'm also worried for Jodha sleeping outside..she is still having ill-health.

Actually, if not for a blanket there's no difference between inside and outside.. since its an open tent like setting.. 😊
but, I do hope he'll do something to make her warm... Embarrassed

Yes... but, these sort of jealousies between wives is very difficult for a man to smoothen... much like a man can never win between wife and mother today 😆
If he'd asked Jodha to sleep inside, she's too self-respecting to listen..if he'd asked Ruqaiyya to sleep outside he knows she'd screech and throw a tantrum...
if he asked the two queens to sleep inside together, he knows both of them wouldn't😆
bichaaraa so he let them act according to their wishes and is having a sleepless night wondering if his love is fine.. hope he does something to make her more comfortable.. 😳

It was a wonderful scene to see Jalal and Jodha together tying the threads.
That was a beautiful scene indeed Lav😳
Jalal is visibly upset seeing Ruq as he wanted to spend all time with Jodha. He controls his displeasure and invites her to join them. Ruq is joining the trip just because of her jealousy for Jodha.
Yeah 😆
Jalal gives option to Ruq and then states it explicitly he would like her to join?😳 This is mistake by CVs or what can be the reason?
No, he can't say he doesn't want her to join, can he?
Another scene which was good was when Jodha leaves Jalal-Ruq alone to allow Jalal to take his own decision. The way Jalal gave her an admiring look was sweet.
Yup!
The cooking scene was nice too, Jodha is caring for Jalal from her heart and the way she replies that it is good for her that he eats small amounts so that she has cook less at a time. This is a huge change from her earlier bitterness. This is perhaps what Saint Chisti had said that they will move towards the path of Mohabbat.
Ruq tries to emulate Jodha in the cooking but fails and gets upset. Perhaps in her anger to put Jodha down, all she is doing is making Jodha outshine😆😆.
Did Jalal eat the chappati because Jodha had told Ruq so or it is because he really wanted to😉😉?
I think he ate it out of his own will... 😆
The mistake which Ruq did I guess is before the Saint Chisti when she did not bow and in her haughty manner presented the gifts.
Awww...this lady needs lessons in humility!
On precap-Jalal saw Jodha shivering in cold and now he will do something may be give her blanket. Point is why did Jalal agree to sleep in the khema? Now there will be a showdown between Ruq and Jalal and she may return back as Begum, which will be great.😆
Warna, drama kaise aata?

Thank you so much dear..😳

I agree with you that he should just stay outside and be with Jodha...watch her. That would pain Ruku badly. To a extend I do feel sorry for Ruku, and also feel that sometimes she is also a victim. But today is one of those moments where she asked for the pain that is coming. However much she wanted to put down Jodha, she should never cross the limit and humiliate her by treating her like as if she was just a servant. The look she gave when she told jodha to go outside (not literally), implied that.
Yes... she was very cheap in that scene...and Jodha stood out! ⭐️
I know many feel that Jalal should have done something. But as you rightly said, he came in after Jodha was asked to leave. Had he seen what Ruku did, he would have done something. Not that he cannot guess that Ruku is the reason behind that change of tone in Jodha when she said she will sleep outside.
I also typed another reason why he didn't do anything... since he came in AFTER the incident happened... he knew his wives wouldn't listen to any other options he'd put forth!

I was just wondering if you had any take on why did he mention more than once that Jodha was happy. It is somehow also tied to his statement that Jodha herself was not used to this kind of lifestyle. I would love to know. Or perhaps its just my imagination??
He loves her humility - full stop.. as kshithi so beautifully put it...
Jodha calls him Shehenshah, but loves Jalal... Ruqaiyya calls him Jalal, but loves the Shehenshah.. he sees this difference and this incident highlights the difference more than anything else!😃
