Looking forward to today's

Thanks Angel for your always Angel like comments!😊
I am also hoping we see them discuss the Dhakka night before they reach Agra. Else, this could be used by so many folks in Agra to pounce on them and separate them.

Good post, and nicely said about Jalal's character.

The best scene of the day was when he says to Jodha that she took away the privilege of a king that would let him experience the punishment of his own order. I was very much moved by this.

The reason I am liking the whole trip is

1. Ofcourse as its just Jalal-Jodha together and they have got time to understand each other. Out of Pagal kana and no MU's

2. This trip is not just about Jalal-Jodha Jodi. But its Jalal's journey to Akbar as well. He is just not into romance and Jodha. He is genuinely worried about his people and wants to understand the pain on common people. This journey is also political, religious and our clever Jalal is back.

A few things I want to see

1. Letter MU should be solved.

2. Meghana, I really liked the point about Jodha connecting dots between Kali maa incident and this.

3. I want them to discuss all these matters more. It would have been nice if Jodha had discussed more about tax pay stuff.

4. They need to break the silence and be open and discuss all matters.

Thank you buddy, am touched that you missed my posts. Do send me a buddy request if you want me to ping my posts. I have been posting at odd hours as things are busy for me.
I am with you on that scene where Jalal tells Jodha that she took away the privilege of getting punished - that was indeed very moving. I wish I was ruled by an emperor who was so empathetic and caring.
I love your points about the trip, indeed Jalal is becoming more of the Akbar. Although in my eyes he is already Akbar, just so many beautiful pure qualities inside him.
I also agree that they need to talk about the dhakka night. Jalal is ready to talk about it, just don't know why Jo is not ready or should I say CVs are not ready!

As always great post Meghana. I am glad you are doing these posts despite your busy schedule. I love the question in your title.

It is true heroines are rarely wrong- yet I feel actions speak louder than words when it comes to these things and Jodha is making amends through her actions. It is not like Jalal ever came and told her his hatred against her was wrong - he just changed the way he acted. It was more implicit. Or am I missing something?

The way Jodha looked at Jalal when he said she took away the opportunity to experience his own rules- I felt she had been enlightened about him. I hope she continues to make amends at least in her actions.

One question: Didn't Jalal know about the kali mandir loot incident? He was upset his soldiers don't succeed and that was when he heard about Jodha first. so, can the kali mandir loot and the pilgrimage tax be in the same category?

To your voiceover point, this was an observation I made in my Take 5 post- I know you are busy so pasted it here:

One thing I want to mention about the voiceovers- this is this the third time they mention a looong night that will change Akfha's life. First, it was the soul talk before the Ben wedding, then the night Jodha was literally "roasted" for a lack of a better phrase, and then in today's episode. It looks every night is going to be khaaas for this jodi so CVs better come up with a new voiceover. 😉

Thank you Divya for understanding my situation, appreciate that. You are a very warm personality, a big tight hug to you. Can you please ping me all your posts this week. I want to read them when I get a chance or over the weekend.
Agree with you that actions speak louder than words, 100% with you on that one. Infact I have used that line many times in my post as I wanted Jalal to understand Jodha's action instead of worrying about the words in the letter.
First of all that episode where Jalal finds out about Jodha was very abrupt and unclear. I am going by the fact that in Amer Ja discusses with Atgah sahib how things are being done without his orders. He was completely surprised, so given that Jalal has never lied I felt he was not guilty.
Second of all, Jalal has apologized many times to Jodha. Specially for the big mistakes of his, the MC and Ben track. I do not expect Jo or Ja to apologize for every small little thing. As there does not need to be too many thank you and sorry when relationship is very strong and close.
But the thing that bothers me is that Jodha had so many things against Jalal because of the kaali maa temple loot. She failed to read Jalal and change her opinion for many months. She thought and said he was lustful and what not. I do want her to atleast admit to herself that she was wrong if not to Jalal. Anyways CVs are more at fault here than anyone else.
About the voice over, your write up is very funny. But you see Divya, the voice over is changing the way they describe every night. The first one was where they were going to be separate for the last time. The second one was the toughest one for them to go thru because of Jo's condition. The third one is THE one that gets them as close as yours and mines imagination😉😆😆

I think this might be an inconsistency on the CVs part- he was angry that his soldiers were stopped by Jodha. But, he was ruthless back then ...

To give Jodha some credit, she did apologize in the Tiger incident (yes it was when he was close to fainting but she did) and she did apologize after the fake pregnancy. She also thanked him with a nice lunch. She also clarified in the Tasleem track that she did not feel ghrina for him anymore. However, Jalal never once mentioned how his feelings had changed for her except that Night of the Shove when he was drunk. As always, these leads have communication problems!
