What I didn't like was - Pari & Rajat being made to look darker than their fair ( in Rajat's case, extremely fair selves) to represent the poor banjaaras.

I hate this sort of strange racism ( not going into semantics) that is shown usually, on Indian TV. 😡

What did I say??? I just mentioned a dialogue from today's epi!!! and called it loaded only becoz it was!!! Jalal ka dialogue writer does give some of the best one liners ever!!!

That one liner on what husbands cannot do was supposed to make your mind wander all over the place sweets!!!🤪And it was so very well placed that everyone has been side tracked by the 'Dhakka' line and have actually missed the point!!!

Please don't be angry with Jodha today. She did not behave like touch me not today. She just did not want her husband to touch her foot. It's just Hindu sentiment and not her attitude. She is definitely not behaving like touch me not now a days. Those days are long gone. Poor Jodha really felt bad today when Jalal mentioned Dhakka yet again. I feel Jalal is more hurt because he thinks Jodha called him and then gave dhakka. He is confused whether to believe her or not. That's why he keeps telling it's difficult to understand woman. I don't think he was hurt because of the rejection. He knew that Jodha just wanted to be his friend and was not yet ready to move on and he was OK with that till he got miss-lead by Maham.

Hey thanks dear😳. I am a hindu and religious too.

A husband can touch the feet when he is tending to his ailing wife, mother, daughter, sister. Besides the real reason why Jodha did not allow was more for the touch part and not of any sentiment. That is why Jalal clarified his intention. Jalal is perplexed and hurt because while Jodha is doing all other duties as a wife but when it comes to physical closeness, she refutes. I find nothing wrong in a husband desiring his wife, its normal and natural. Had Jalal been wanting another woman, then it may be wrong. I do not promote such flawed concept of husband and wife or lovers. Marriage is the most intimate relationship and lack of physicality can ruin it. As long as he is not coercing himself on her or abusing her, till then its fine.

Mature people will take it as fiction and move on but there are thousands of impressionable minds who will think this is true.
