Amongst the women, I admire all women who've defied their station /restricted roles to take the bull ( in this case their Life) by it's horns & RULE!

And of course Hatsheput, Nefertiti & Cleopatra etc were IMMENSELY ADMIRABLE women but for me, in a country like India at that century were women were hopelessly restricted, for a woman to rise so above & RULE the country in name & otherwise, for her to issue coins in her name & be one up on the men by her ruthless intelligence & vast political acumen yet be feminine & wily enough to fool some? PERFECTION! 😃

oh! cleopetra is another one i like, loved elizabeth taylor's movie as well!..genghis khan!..i saw some books on him in a bookstore here in vancouver, he seems to be quite a character..my son makes fun of his ruthlessness..hmmm..haven't read much about him

GK was far from ruthless!! He was as ruthless as any other conqueror-Emperor of his times!! All this is western propaganda.

Ya, but I find the Mughal emperors fascinating and it will be interesting to see how the dynasties evolved or transformed down the ages. Rajat is my favorite, and would like him to do the trilogy series.

On the contrary, he was an extremely intelligent, immensely wise man. 10000s of miles ahead of his Times & his love story with his first wife, Borte is the stuff of legends!!

Did you know that when he was a small tribal chief , very young she had been kidnapped by a much more powerful clan? GK travelled to where she was, at immense danger to his own life, rescued her & much later she gave birth to a son which of course everyone knew could not be Genghi's.

For a man, esp an Emperor ESP a so-called ruthless & violent Emperor like he has been painted out to be, to say THIS in open court at THAT TIME, is magnificently admirable. 👏

I've always felt the same. The kind of perfection, intelligence & brilliance that RT brings to the historical characters he plays, and the stache of Presence he lends to them, if he plays other characters the telly begins to look too small!!! 👏

i tell ya tripti..i do not know him from prc days as most of you do..i saw him first time in JA!..initially i was not too impressed..i started watching this show on my friend's recommendation..the scene that impressed me the most was the one in which he is impressed by jodha's letter for pregnant ruq..when he is in his bedroom and has a glass of wine in his hand and the way he says that dialogue was pure brilliance..i gave my heart in a split second..i was spellbound! i still to this day have to see such brilliance and royalty..and he deserves a big round of applause for magnificent performance👏
