My dear Neena,

Thanks a million, my dear.

Am I pleased to have at least you with me in my camp re:The Letter! Bobby would not rest till she shanghaied me into saying that it would not bother me if that was to come first.

Yes, I left out all the rest but Jalal and Jodha, because to do otherwise would have ruined the whole feel of this post.

Again, which scene do you mean, the one in the Moment of the Day? If so, I agree, though all the others were beautiful as well. This one added a distinctive tone to their relationship, that of camaraderie.

Shyamala Aunty,👏

what can i say about this post😳

just wow😛 thank u for such an awesome analysis and double thanks for keeping ruqu, maham and sharrif away from it😆
for me that whole scene was one of the best scene of jalal and jodha
it has its own passion without any physical proximity or strong gaze
and u have described it perfectly

aunty unlike the whole forum i do not think clearing out of letter misunderstanding can only solve the problem between them . Rather it will be beautiful if jodha will take a step forward and make jalal realize that she has accepted him.Because jalal is more hurt of humiliation of rejection than the betrayal of jodha (which she did after inviting him for spending night according to jalal ).So only jodha can heal it and not any clearance of letter misunderstanding.

PS: i m so glad TE is not lost 😳

Exactly, Adiana. That is it in a nutshell.

As for the letter issue, more than the letter what is stopping TE is not the belief that she called him and then pushed him away.

What is holding him back is her non-acceptance of his love - he remembers his words of 'The Night' but she has not gone over them - she only remembers the act which to her was SKLL.

This is a very very knotty problem that only Chudail can undo - She has to first realise that it was not SKLL - that will automatically help her understand Benny baby and all else shd fall in place!!!

Thank you, my dear Ash, and I am delighted to see that you reacted to the whole exactly as I did. It was superlative, so delicate and beautiful. You know, it is this stage of a romance that is the very best; nothing that come afterwards can be compared to it.

Now we can relax a bit and look forward to even better times ahead.

Hi, aunty. I am really happy u made this post. I had been waiting patiently and hoping for u to post on friday episode. This post made me relieve the episode again. I have lost count of how many timesni saw the last episode. I totally agree with u that it ws MAGICAL. In last epsidoe, i feel rajat and paridhi matched each other perfectly acting wise.

I loved JAlal and jodha scenes. Their conversation was so positive, cute, flirty and adorable. I caught myself blushing through this scene. Jodha is jealous of Benazir. I was thinking she is gone and she was here to kill Jalal and these two r still talking about her. these 2 are unique couple. I loved it how their postures while they were sitting. jodha had her hands around knees while jalal had his hands folded between his knees and both of them were leaning towards each other. they seem comfortable while sitting down.

I JUST LOVED how both SHARED a LAUGHTER together first time openly and their smiles was wow. I also LOVED when Jodha asked jalal, that u're my husband, can't u take me out. he was surprised and happy. I loved how jalal felt awkward while trying to put jodha's hands around him and holding her other hand in his hand. ifelt jodha did not seem awkward and was just going with flow. When jodha said how can benazir wear such clothes in front of someones husband, i started lauughing and i am sure jalal had hard time controlling his smile as u said. My MOST fav part is the ur chosen moment of the day.

Then, their garden scene. they were totally checking each other out and love the dialogue when jodha said wished he had said she was more beautiful than benazir and jalal saying wish u did not leave any space in between us for someone to enter and did not let benazir come in. I JUST LOVE this aankhon aankhon mein baaterin and sharmana ad stealing glances. omg, i am in akdha land again.I was jumping on my bed out of happiness and was gushing throughout.

P.S. u know I always maintained in my posts regarding since the letter misunderstanding that true contents of letter should be cleared between jodha and jalal. I know u said it might not be needed after jodha's act of saving jalal but I always felt that even if u they trust each other, they still need to know why ja-jo wnet through all these in first place. jALAL needs to start doubting MA and Jodha already knew MA killed jalal's unborn child and now this revealtion should actually make her more careful and caution especially now when jodha has feelings for jalal and she cares.

Dear Aunty, I was referring to the one in Jodha's room and Angoori baag. Even they were 2 different scene, for me it was one as one was continuation was other. So I said scene instead of scenes.

Thank you, my dear Bobby, but which scene are you referring to, the one in the Moment of the Day ? I seem to have described so many of them here, all, I hope, "so nicely"!😉

As for The Letter being sorted out, have it your way, my dear. I did note that for it to happen would the best, and in any case, I am not too hung up on it. It will come when Jodha suddenly realises that Jalal cannot read. Then, even if she does not know who read it out to him, it will all fall in place, and she will now be better placed to get him to listen to her.

I do wish I was a best selling author, but alas, I am not! In fact I am a retired, 60+ Indian diplomat. You can google me, but one of my young friends in this forum dug up a 10 year old article about me from The Hindu which might interest you. It is at

http://www.hindu.com/mp/2004/03/10/stories/2004031000460100.htm,

and the photo is still a decent likeness!

Reverting to this post, it somehow took me much longer to write and edit it than I usually take, It must be that it is very hard to distil magic into mere words.

PS: I keep adding you to my buddy list for my PMs, but your id seems to vanish each time. It is a puzzle.

Wow! I searched up your name on Google, and I'm awed...!!!😲
What I found:

Ms. Shyamala Balasubramanyam Cowsik is a professional diplomat. Before joining the Indian Foreign Service through the regular All India Civil Services examination " where she was the first woman to top the country-wide list of successful candidates " she rounded off her academic career with a Master's degree in Physics.

Her first diplomatic assignment was in Geneva, Switzerland, where she served as Vice-Consul and later, as Consul of India, while simultaneously acting as Alternate Delegate to various UN conferences. Her next foreign assignment was as First Secretary at the Embassy of India in Washington, USA, handling political affairs, from where she moved as Political Counsellor and second-in-command to the Embassy of India in Bangkok. She was later Counsellor/Minister and second-in-command at the Embassy of India in Belgrade, and Joint Secretary/Head of Division at the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.

Mrs. Cowsik's first assignment as Head of Mission was as Ambassador of India to the Philippines (1992-95). She returned to Washington straight from this post as the Deputy Chief of Mission, again a first for a woman. She next served as the High Commissioner of India to Cyprus from late 1997 to mid-2001, before moving to The Hague in July 2001 as the Ambassador of India to the Netherlands. She proceeded directly from The Hague to Ottawa in early 2005, and is the current High Commissioner of India to Canada.

Her extra curricular activities include classical music, both Western and Indian, reading and trekking. She has a 23-year old son, Siddhartha.

My dear, I am not surprised. Either the chipmunks 😉 must have buried it or I simply did not get around to it, which happens more often that I would like. If you give me the coordinates, I will go back and read it/them.

Do you, some people actually thought that in that thread, i was comparing Jodha to a donkey (and Vicki too, of course, from whose post of the previous day I had swiped the phrase Neither a Persian doormat nor a laundryman's donkey!).
