Just one thing came to my mind. Jodha says that Jalal never complimented her to be beautiful even once like he does Benazir even after she is dead.

But, I remember, during that Sword fight between the two.. Jalal does mention her beauty isnt' it.

If I remember correctly, he makes her sword fly away and keeps his sword on her neck and slowly removes her purdhah and admires her.. She takes advantage of his loss of concentrations and yanks his sword from him and puts it on his chest. Later after some nok-jok, Jalal says that he lost the sword fight today not because of the loss of his sword, but coz he was lost in her beauty. 😳

Hmmm... point to ponder... Probably Jodha bhool gayi ..hehehe 😉

Thanks Viji!😊
I thought Jodha meant that Jalal did not call her more beautiful than Ben, not completely sure. She did not mean that he has never called her beautiful. Even during the sword fight Jodha enjoyed the compliment. But, now she wanted the compliment so badly because she wants Jalal to only like her and nobody else.

It is as difficult to describe the Jalal-Jodha scenes in this episode as it is to describe sunlight dancing on rippling waters or the iridiscent colours on a butterfly's wings. I admired the brave attempt you have made to do just that. A meticulous, affectionate and extremely hopeful post.

After the segment was over, I felt exactly the same as you did - I too wanted to put a kala tlkka on both of them.

Shyamala

PS: I think some the former scriptwriters have been coaxed back. Don't you?

Thanks Shymala. When I started writing the review I was all over. I did not know how to balance my thoughts and feelings as they were uncontrollable. It was all because of the superb episode and the apt reason you put below:

I am very hopeful of CVs and of Jodha, keeping my fingers and toes crossed..

Agree, something has changed about the episodes this week. Most likely the old crew is back and what a perfect time to come back now that Ben is out..Gosh it was so heard to watch her with such terrible acting skills which showed even more bcos of RT/PS superb acting.

Spot on, Meghana. She clearly says Benazir se bhi sundar, not sundar per se.

Because somebody has to put the brakes on the runaway love train that Jodha is on! I love her Adorable Highness and so I almost want to look away and give her some privacy. Fortunately for me, Jalal himself provides some speed breaks that so exquisitely slow Jodha down as well as speed things up! How? How is that even possible??? Whoever wrote these scenes is a genius. Rajat's Jalal came to the rescue and added the right touch of gravitas.

and when you say 'much awaited' love triangle track, I agree 100 %. This needs to be played out to the max to get Ruqaiya back to who she really is.

Teddy buddy, thanks again for your comments. If you don't mind I would like to know your name. You have summarized my feelings of the episode in just few lines, applaud for that. It was a master piece that CVs gave to us today, sheer genius as you described it.
LOL runaway love train Jodha and you wanting to look away for her privacy - 😆
Yep, you got me buddy. I am crossing my toes/fingers, putting black tika and everything else for the epic-ness to not go away. We have been tortured for 2 months by Ben, the non-actress and nonsensical track. After that this week was such a relief, I still pinch myself to make sure this is all real.😉
I hope so also that Ruqu track is played well, that characters inner feelings need to come out completely. So far they have shown her so shallow, me wonders how she was actually in real life? Was she only about audha? There are so many contradictory stories about it, dont know what to believe..

the name's Anusha. So glad I got your pulse reasonably accurately again. 😆 All my comments are a bit tongue in cheek but I do mean it when I say, we resonate somewhere and agree on many things.

No I doubt the real Ruqaiya was only about audha. She must have been a practical sixteenth century Moghul Queen. She would have known how far to take things. But as for her feelings... she must have felt a lot of things, we can only guess.

Anusha,
Ruqu will be a mystery always. I just hope they dont bring her down too much to glorify Jodha. The lady has already received so many halos around her head. I am looking forward to this track though, hopefully it will be much better than Ben/Tasneem track. We might get to see lot of TEDA Jalal methods on Ruqu to keep her calm..
We do share same views and have liked your comments in my recent posts, so I am glad I know your name - thanks!

Hey guys! Just a quick heads-up before you start reading. This story is totally fictional....everything here is purely from my imagination......
