But shock pe shock...the show is on a roll and Jodha opened her eyes with her left hand safely garrisoned in the Shahenshah's. I was looking at those hands like it was an apparition, a mirage in the desert. But Jalal behaved like it was the most real and natural thing. It should reassure Jodha one day soon to know that her pati's heart orientation towards her is quite settled and secure. She has helped clear the cobwebs in his dil and dimag, and fast forwarded the story quite a bit. One other person who I crazily credit with kick starting the romance is Benazir. And Jodha's first word on waking was...Benazir. 🤣 Jodha and I are generally on the same page.

What can I say... Jalal has acknowledged his subordinate role to the Almighty. None of his words can be completely dismissed because he is the Shahenshah, but some words fall to the ground and evaporate into nothingness. Jodha has graciously forgiven and is now looking forward to having verbal fisticuffs with Jalal...exchanging taunts and keeping score about who did what to whom. Well I don't mind them keeping score between themselves, quarrelling, and finding a formula that works for them, because I certainly don't want to keep score.

side note: Moti in the hojra with Jodha and Jalal behaved more like she was with her sissy and jiju. I was slightly miffed about this. But then I thought... this whole situation unfolding so soon on Thursday has made everything oh so jolly. 😲 ...so all is well.

Romantics want to see two people who are equals in the ego stakes but can surprise us and themselves about how much they can love each other despite the odds. Will they share the same heart string wavelengths? They will, but from very different perspectives. Very often, it's the soul connection that will have to suffice, when circumstances keep them apart. ( Bring it on CVs).

oh and did I say ... Rajat and Paridhi were magnificent.

One minor point: strings, of the heart or others, are about frequency rather than wavelength. But since their multiple has to equal the speed of sound in the air in Jodha's hoojra, I suppose it is no big deal😉.

oh S Akka, it is a big deal. I didn't see this till now and you must have posted this the same time I was thinking of the words 'frequency' and 'resonance'. Don't know about Ja and Jo but are we resonating now! 😲 wonders never cease.
