Probably Jalal was being diplomatic. He knew Ruqaiyya would shut up if he told her that her 'auda' was in danger if she behaved that way with Jodha. But she was stupid to listen to Maham anyway. Ruqu is an immature, spoilt brat..she gets swayed so easily! One day she's all ears to Jalal and goes on to tell Jo that she'll always be nice to her cos she's nice..next day MA comes and instigates her and she's burning with hatred for Jo..crazy female!
