awesome analysis...
I have not watched the epi yet...going to watch tonight...

it looks like MH was the show stealer...

shocked to know that bharmal n Amer clans knows abt shivani's affair...this is a very sensitive topic...just to bring back old Akdha in full form...bharmal n Amer clans becomes the scapegoat...this brought the Rajputs in a negative light...which will not go down well with the Rajputs community...shivani's eloping...bharmal kept Akdha in dark...its all in negative light...Rajputs in history are known to be very loyal to Akbar...he trust the Rajputs more than his own blood thirsty family...this whole shivani track showed the Rajputs in bad light...the honour of Rajputs should be redeem asap...otherwise we can never connect with the relationship b/w jallu n Rajputs...as this incident will be pricking us like a needle

At last with the effect of salima...HB n gang..rahim...jallu...javeda...jodha has accepted the mughals n herself being part of the family...the rings in my ears were "humare pati"...she has accepted jallu at least for 50%...a beautiful change of Rajvanshi Princess to Mughal Queen Of Sultanate/Agra

jallu taking the baby steps of realising his feelings n the meaning of love...thanks to MH

BEAUTIFUL analysis Mansi👏...I have a slightly different take on it though😃

HAKIM-BHARMAL
I can understand that Hakim needed to forgive Bharmal for the story to go ahead...
HAKIM-JALAL
I can also understand that Hakim telling Jalal those words of Mohabbat is possibly the 'waking' point for Jalal's heart

However, I found the dialogues ill-timed and Hakim's reaction sort of unbelievable.

Hakim's forgiving standpoint was only so that he could be the saint for the story to move ahead, while Jalal could remain like an Emperor... if Hakim ruled Kabul with this sort of principles, he'd be squashed by his enemies, trampled over in no time and assassinated...

There's a reason Ashoka, Chandragupta Maurya, Alexander and Elizabeth were successful monarchs - not because they were ruthless (all of them have had their ruthless spells just like they've had their own love stories too🤔) but the reason they were successful rulers was because they didn't succumb under pressure!
This is why in our country (as in any country/generation/era) warriors/soldiers/leaders have always been given a very high status - not because they are physically strong...not because they don't love their girls/wives/lovers/family as much as the next man...but, because they are compelled to set all that aside (and many-a-time sacrifice family/love) when going to wars or mete justice!

I was glad when Jalal didn't forgive his sister BB then and now I'm glad that Jalal hasn't forgiven Shivani/Tej now (just like he wasn't ready to let go of Bharmal)
Just like I'm glad Jodha forgave BB then but didn't forgive her family now..

She is thinking like a wife and a queen...he is thinking like the king ...so they both made most sense to me! 👏
I am hoping Jalal would be unforgiving of MA too when the day comes...

Hakim letting Bharmal go - I don't have much to say about (actually, I'm surprised the CVs decided to portray Bharmal so in the first place) anyway, I would have liked to see at least momentary anger on Hakim's face and a slight disappointment on Hamida's face...😕

Even today in India, if the bride runs away from the Mandap, the couple are hunted down and taken to severe task, Mansi...this is the royal family from the 16th century we are talking about - and the match an absolute misfit!

What I would have liked to see instead...
Once Shivani/Tej are brought to court and imprisoned...THEN, a few episodes on, I would have liked to see Hakim cool down (after some self-retrospect from his end) and then talk to Jalal about having them released...
At this point, I would have LOVED for Jalal to have woken up to this 'beating' heart conversation (cos it would have been a few days since the events passed by) ... maybe when the two brothers share a discussion on the issue...where Jalal cannot believe that HK has decided to possibly forgive Shivani/Tej...and Jalal reluctantly agrees to it all...it would have seemed more realistic then...

let's see how the episode pans out

For me the stars of the day were Jalal (for trusting Jo and being dignified) and Jodha (for standing by right)👏 Obviously, I felt very bad for both of them - they'd been betrayed by their own - especially Jodha!

I wasn't a big fan of Hakim and Hameeda - because their conversations AT THIS POINT in the story were quite unbelievable. (At a later date it'd have made more sense) CVs should not portray them as poets, they're monarchs and both of royal blood! 😕 They would have seen enough wars/bloodshed/violence/politics to know their stance wasn't going to help run an empire in any way!
Hameeda was a lady who gave up her son, since she was running from pillar to post seeking refuge in war-torn provinces... Hakim is from Kabul which was always a very troubled province in itself... so, a bit more realism would help...
but, the CVs who started off portraying grey very well (Ruqaiyya in starting episodes, Maham in starting episodes) have shifted to colours of Black and White for the sake of the story lately!
Anyway, lets see how it proceeds
I still don't know the reason for the whole Ben thing in the upcoming tracks... ..its just leaving me very confused!

Well written post Mansi for a lovely well scripted episode. We saw the transformation of Jodha from Ameri princess to Agra Begum and the great Mohabbat talk between MH and Jalal tugging the strings of Jalal's heart to open up. It is laying the foundation of their great prem, where we will get to see a new Jodha and Jalal in non-ghrina and prem consolidation mode. Ameris will soon be redeemed with Maham's exposure of her evil plans.

Seeing JA's transformation overnight, I have also transformed myself with an inspired username and icon to celebrate.

There is whole lot of information about Shivratri & how Parvati saved life of Lord Shiva
If they got HB to mention Shivratri coming, this post is giving good lead, it might be true fits with Ben 'vish' story (why would they give this dialogue otherwise?)

HB mentions Shivratri tomorrow so that track will be next week, so Ben 'Bidai' next week😃😃😃

Thnx maddy..for that Neelkanth story.😊

Yes. Mages, I guarantee you will like the epi when you see it, because I think I know how your mind works since you write on my thread almost every day! The points you've noted are fabs and exactly echo my mind!😛

Lashy, I reflected on your point about Hakim and I agree you have a valid point there about the believability of his position. But what I'd like to say in his defence was that some people take debacles better than others. Now just because one man is able to hold grudges longer while another cannot I would not judge the former as a stronger person able to set aside sentiment and be strong. It would look like that on the outside, but the question I would be tempted to ask myself is:

Is the person able to slide setbacks off his back easily and is that being read as "too easy going and not as strong" whereas another may be able to hold a grudge longer and be seen as "strong"!
But after that small cynical approach, if the person is genuinely able to stand apart from all considerations and have righteous angger I would agree with your point totally.
This one sentence you've written resonates completely with me:
"For me the stars of the day were Jalal (for trusting Jo and being dignified) and Jodha (for standing by right)👏 Obviously, I felt very bad for both of them - they'd been betrayed by their own - especially Jodha!"
The Ben factor in fact is the most unbelievable one for me personally and I'd rather see her go fast because it eats into the credibility of the story for me, even if it was true that in those days there were vishkanyas!
That said, you and I have been crying hoarse about the direction and editing which did see some improvement yesterday, na?

Lovely post Mansi! I was quite surprised @ the portrayal of Amer Family and its quite hard to digest what Hakim said but Jalal and Jodha both were so righteous when it came to analyse the whole situation that I cared little about this degradation of side characters. But I really hope somehow Amerians wins back the now broken trust of Jodha-Jalal soon and Jalal finds his real family in them.

I think all will be well soon. Some big act of solidarity is needed now from the Amer side, plus hakim's speech about forgiving the loved ones of the person you love will act on jalal also, I guess. History shows that eventually Jalal treated the Ameris as more his loyal family than his own treacherous relatives, so somewhere the gulf will be bridged, I guess?
