Agreed that serial is for entertainment...But if u see the movie JA, we can see there Jodha having each n every quality of an ideal Rajput princess and a of Mughal Queen as well. She is brave, truthful, has self-respect but at the same time respectful to her husband. She knows how to put her point before emperor without disrespecting him. weren't u able to relate with her there??

Even a strong lady like jaywanta bai in maharana pratap knows exactly how to say, when to say and what to say to her husband without disrespecting him.

Here jodha talks to jalal as if he is road side romeo jo uske picche pada hua hai with her patent dialogue " Hume aapse Ghrina Hai "

at least she has comparatively slightly toned down but still needs lots of improvement!

jalal of 16th century cannot be a meaaooo..submissive..mughals of those times were ruthless..but females were more docile and respected their husbands, they did not dare to show any disrespect, and pardah system was very strictly enforced..women had no say, only the begams who the emperor liked were treated good...and akbar was a very strong personality who was more involved in wars than harem ki begams...how i wish more of reality was shown!

I agree that Rajputs are extremely courageous be it men or women. However Rajput women apart from being brave and courageous were very respectful towards their husband. No matter their husband is doing right or wrong, they used to obey them.

Now the way Jodha talks to jalal seems highly unacceptable and somewhere we can't relate it to history.

For instance,

1. Jodha talks to jalal as if she is scolding him always. She keeps on saying "hume aapse ghrina hai". O come on lady!! he's emperor of India and u can't talk to him like that. I don't think real akbar would have tolerated such a behaviour.

2. Few days before when there was misunderstanding between J & J on letter thing. Jalal tries to be intimate with Jodha and Jodha pushes him and Jalal is all on floor. No this is something too much for a king.
He's a king not ur sewak!!!! 😡 How can u do this to an emperor and more importantly ur husband.

3. It's an old hindu ritual that women touch their husband's feet. Jodha has never done that. Chalo!! that's fine as it is not necessary as it was not prevalent among Mughals.

4. Whenever Jalal is talking to his courtiers abt any imp. matter, she comes there without even asking. Muslims (no offence) are quite particular that ladies shouldn't come before other men and if they come their face should be covered.

I am not against women raising their voice before their husband nor I believe that they should always be submissive to men. I also believe that women should have all the rights that a man has.The only thing I don't agree with is that we can't relate her behaviour with the women of that period.

.
these are the very much points bec of ... I never able to connect with this character jodha...
some scenes are really very unbelievable
for .. every time saying your right ful hubby that he is after your body🤢
in the cold night when u already shared room with your hubby he was sitting on bed hands under your head and what she said n did was just unbelievable...
I mean he is emperor.. there must be guards n army in his camp site what she actually did.. went outside the tent n sit under the tree in the freezing night n he was keep asking come inside come inside jodha begum hum aisa kuch nhi kar rahe thae 🤢..
..
kia yaaar ..chee ...
...
and it happened when he just gave his important fort to his sister ...
...
even don't want to mention mohan track... what was actually tht...threw bullets from gun in the middle of jungle...is she really princess... Rajputs has very strong custom of hunting...
,,
1 only poor shansha e hind is left in whole country for these lectures... nirdaush pashu ka wadh.🥱.
there no Mughal protocols in the show...
nobody can talk in the court without king permission...
yesterday she just stand n gave gift to pandu ji... imagne some other ladies n minters also was doing this... giving gifts n talking to each other with permission what would be the court environment. Hilarious yet irritating...
...
pls CVs don't spoil characterization of these historical figures...
I also hate when jalal asked benz to sit him in court n benz was in court in tht cheap dress..
