On the initial evidence, badly. I cannot fathom what possessed her to stand up, assuming that Jalal would actually seat her next to him after that dust up earlier in the day. I am glad she is now getting it in the face with both barrels. She has had it coming for a long time, far too long, snubbing him and yet using him whenever it suited her, and now it is payback time. She has to learn what humiliation and heartache are like before she will be worthy to be loved.
I don't mind him avenging his insult (though ill timed, seeing how she's finally turning to be supportive of him)...but the tactics he used doesn't reflect well on HIS status.. its all a bit too cheap-looking for my tastes if you know what I mean...also, I don't know if an emperor would have ever let a dance girl sit beside him in court - that'd be possibly considered more scandalous than divorcing his first wife 😆
And no, I do not agree with you that he does not love her. It is his misfortune, but he does.You think, he does?😕I don't know why it doesn't seem so to me yet...he has all other genial feelings for her other than the actual 'truly deeply' love, me thinks..
