"But it seems Jalal and all of us missed out one key point: that the public doesn't know WHY all this had to happen! They don't see the reason behind the new law and hence all they see is that Jalal has brought a new law whimsically and applied it to himself to now force them to follow suit! So we now have a complication created by insufficient public communication! "
Khan Baba left Akbar when Akbar was 18/19. Akbar had functioned on his own since then and captured central india, malwa, Bihar, gondwana, mewar, ajmer, nagor and much more by his military acumen, brute force, diplomacy and extreme astuteness. He established the Mughal sultanate as one of the most powerful ones by the time he was this 21/22. Not only in terms of power, but commerce and organisation as well.Originally posted by: vijisridhar
Very nicely articulated post.
Many of you seem to be disliking the fact that CVs showed Jalal as a weak, he was undecided and did not have a plan in place before announcing divorce yesterday.
I truly accept the fact - but this is only one side of the coin isnt it.? I have told this a few times here. Remember that Jalal is still a young guy trying to find his foothold on the kingdom, to make independent decisions, trying to keep mom and Maham at bay.
He lost his most trusted Khan Baba to consipiracy. He is aware of lots of spin going on behind his back. But, he cannot take action without concrete proof.
He does not have his Emperor dad to guide him and make him see right and wrong. Obviously... he will make mistakes and rise from them. He trusts his khas-begums... so he went along with it.
Thats how I see it... not as a weakling. Ofcourse, I agree that Ekta and her CVs love to portray their hero weak, which I hope is not the case here as its a historical fiction and Akbar was a winner in his own right.
