Simply blaming her past for this kind of behaviour, doesn't make her blameless.

Exactly my point.
Even if I wanna feel for her...she is way too irritating n self centered
Even salima is a mughal princess but not spoilt brat..au contraire I love her.

She is what she is because life has made her that way. Don't compare her with Jodha atleast.. she has a huge family who is always there for her... she is pampered and spoilt as well..

Rukaiya is insecure because she has always been under threat. her entire life. She lost her parents at a tender age and has absolutely no one. She, along with Jalal has had the worst of childhood.. hers is worse because she has no family. Her only family is Jalal.. and that is being taken away from her.

She is not as bad as she seems.. she did want to speak for Moti but Maham had told her that would make Jalal question her... she did support jodha..

She like Jalal.. does have a heart.

Jalal and jodha are not the only ones who have to evolve.. Rukaiya will evolve and grow up as well.

Plus, Jalal is supposed to be 20.. in that case she is just 17..a kid.

Have I come into the right forum?😆
Kya hua? everywhere ruqu posts?

Haiyee Alakh, I love this post!🤗🤗 thank you!

Its hard not to feel for Ruks. She is the most intriguing character after Jalal for me. And very realistic in her reactions most of the time.

so, take your pick 😆

Having said that, I do feel bad for Ruqs... no denying that 😊 her arrogant and heartless nature could have been due to having a troubled parvarish like Jalal (unlike the favourable kind that Jodha had)

If you see how self-preservation kicks in in children amongst war-torn areas, one might understand her plight. With such a dangerous troubled upbringing and need for power to hold on to, she's become the un-trusting unkind person she is to everyone...thence, her trust is on one person alone - the one who's been with her in all that turmoil and that is Jalal-ud-din Mohammed!

Lashy in many ways she is exactly like Jalal. But she is far more hurt and scarred by her childhood than he is. Girls always are. We go through far more emotional and hormonal changes than boys. So because of that she is hardened and she will not evolve as quickly as Jalal because she has far more to let go than Jalal has starting with letting him go. The first step is always the hardest. Esp since she doesnt fight wars, there is no other distraction either for her.

If you get married to someone at 9, and then the relationship turns non-platonic women fall deeper into the relationship. thats why most of the time , men can have one night stands and woman cant. more of than not , we need counselling after that😆

Alakh
I love your post... because I always connect my self as woman with Ruqayya...
...I never watch any how for hero heroins... I have always my own favorites...that's why I never finish any indian show ... her emy favorites are jalal, Ruqqaya , salima , moti...
...
right now I m trip of Hawaii
..not actually present on forum..but couldn't my self to comment your post..
I just coated sharadha bec these are the points which I ever feel about her character ..in this show..not for real empress ruayya sultan...she was not like this..

as jalal said ..he n jodha r like same..

but I think ruqayya n jalal are same

she lost her father for jalal life at age 8 ... married him in 9.. what she has...no mother father, sibling, maika, only jalal..n fear to loose him...

how she became like his... just bec ...BK n MA kept telling jalal he has no heart..which as a 12 -13 yr old boy ...he believed n shared to ruqayya that may be she is special for him as he has no heart he cant give this to her...n ruqayya being 10 11 year girl believed her husband...

no mother she had who teach her.. I wonder why didn't HB took care n gave love to her 8 yr bahu whose father lost his life for her husband cause and her sons life...n gulbadan begum who is ruq real bua ...she also has no special place for ruqayya..n ruqayya is very respectful to all of them

she is still 19 20...

every one say that every woman in jalal harem runs after jalal attention...so ruqayya made her self like this

hum jalal k nhi jalal hamare pheeche bhagte hai

hum jalal ka intezaaar nhi jalal hmara intezar karte hain...

..
I have more to write.. but don't have time...
I realy connect my self wih this character as woman
