Later she further goes a step ahead and calls Tasneem's parents and questioned them about their willingness for this marriage. Even if they were against the same, they would have said yes, after seeing her cruel eye signal. Hope Jalal Saw that too, as he watching the entire happening only with the side looks and no one would have realized what all he saw. Immediately after the parent's consent, Wazir-e-aliyah wanted to proclaim the judgment but was stopped by jalal who said the judgment will be heard the next day and without giving chance to anyone to question on his stand, he leaves the court.

I was touched by Hamida, all along she was gazing at Jodha, knowing very well she will be upset with this law and might try to intervene. And stopped jodha on time and made her aware of the court proceedings. Later Hamida was worried for Jodha's safety and the also about what might befall on her through Maham as she has openly went against Adham. Hamida is very well aware of Maham's mentality and how far she can go to save her son and her position.

Hamida does surely know all about Maham's character but she is unable to do anything about it because Jalal is the stumbling block. If he changes the fate of Maham will change for sure because Hamida is just waiting for her chance, that's the feeling I get!

Adham the nutcase is happy that he will get to marry Tasneem and thereby had a victory over Jodha Begum but the the cunning cat is not convinced on the same. She is more worried as Jalal took time to think it over (not with her but alone) and that is a big hurdle for her if he starts thinking. She knew from her experience, as long as the king leave the thinking part to the Wazir-E-Aliyah, she can manipulate anyone and everyone but the moment the king starts thinking, that means, the minister had lost her influence on the king or may lose it shortly which is really worrying her. She has started thinking about why Jalal need one more days' time. Looks like she will have a counter plan ready to counter act Jalal's theory

Jaya, look at the irony of the life of a King. If he starts thinking his courtiers get worried! Everybody's plans go haywire and all the powwermongers have to start scheming twice as fast to keep up with a thinking King!

I feel Resham is more clever than the thick skinned Adham. Resham realized that Jalal doesn't want to dirt his hand in family politics and that was the precise reason he asked Jodha to give justice to Bakshi banu and now Maham to decide on Adham's case. The clear insight is that, he is pricking the eyes by there own hands. Neither accused nor the complainant can later complain to him that they didn't get the proper justice. Till now even Maham had not thought in those lines and was literally shocked with that revelation though she didn't make it evident to Resham. However, this was disturbed by Jalal's entry and totally turned her attention. Jalal was more than vocal here and explained her that the case is more of a family issue than the political issue as the accused is his own brother and tne complainant is his own Begum. So before passing the judgment, he wanted to consult the issue with his "Khas begums" and gave her food to think and also to relish. She still had the guts to question him about only Ruqaiya being the Begum-E-Khas and without any justification, he asked her to summon even Salima & Jodha for the discussion.

Jaya, this is one point that even I have questioned: why did Jalal ask Maham to bring his wives to him? What is the game behind this?

I really don't think Jalal is trying to take out the issue from Maham's hands to his own hands by claiming it as family issue to give the reigns to Jodha. Since he knows Jodha is good at understanding common man's heart and Salima is good at analyzing the details where as Ruqaiya is good at Political knowledge. So he wanted to put them into use and see the result. Since it is the matter concerned to a girl in particular and the whole female gender in whole, he wanted to know the different views from his family first o that he can take a step ahead later. Since maham had taunted him about him consulting his begums and not her, he didn't want her to start it all over again and also since she is not only a mother to accused but also the minister in his court, he wanted to add her to the conversation so that he can have 4 views on a single subject. Further he is not planning to scope to Jodha's ideas alone but wanted know how the others feel on this subject. He had seen none were happy when he gave the responsibility of the judgment to Maham. More over, he is not using either Ruqaiya or Salima as the shields to Jodha from the attacks of Maham as he I not at all doubting Maham at the moment. Since they are 3 different ladies having 3 different but best knowledge in their own way, he wants to put them together so that they can contribute well to the sultanate. Since it is a general issue, not pertaining to any f his own begum (though raised by Jodha), he wanted all of them together to discuss and give their views.

Okay I buy this point. maybe he wanted variety of opinion for a thorough dissection of the issue?

Maham made a grave mistake by provoking Ruqaiya today by ridiculing her status as Khas Begum. Least did she knew that Jalal had already told this to ruqaiya during the Meena Bazzar exhibition while he asked Ruqaiya to choose 3 best shawls for his 3 Khas Begums and Ruqauya had chosen 3 and knew that 1 was for her and the other 2 were given to Salima begum & Jodha begum. So though Ruqaiya was raged in the beginning, she will coll down during the course of discussion and I am for sure she will contribute towards Jodha's cause and support her (if not for the sake of Jodha, she will support her oppose Maham)

OK, that is a very good point. So finally Ruq and Jodha may argue on the same side!👏👏👏👏👏

Now coming back to Jodha & Jalal's 3 minutes on the fort, Jodha came a cool breaze and asked him about his exact thought about the case on male dominating society where a small girl being abused by a powerful man. Over and above she tells him that he being the king can make or break the law and hence she looks for the justice and faith in his justice. The word faith itself had triggered some dead cells in Jalal's chest and as a afterthought adder she even tells him that as he trusts her irrevocably, even she has started trusting him (leaving behind the unsaid words that hope he stands upto her expectations so that she need not have to rethink about her trust.

That's a lovely way of putting it, Jaya! That the word faith triggered in him some dead cells!😛😛😛

That sting his heart and he could feel some unknown feeling in his heart and he could not mke out whether it was pain or is it called the happiness which is mother had explained earlier. The pain was not physical, he can feel it but can't sense it. It was like a chill within but we end up foldig our hands an hold us to fight the chill as if we could do it. Yes, he ould feel that unknown pain in chest and thought he can suppress it by holding the spot. And that was not at all dramatic and that was the mot natural thing we as human beings express. When we are too distressed, we will try to hold our throat to suppress the cry, s if we could really control the cry. That is only a reflex action we do (Don't we hold our stmach when we get stomach pain despite knowing that it is internal pain and we putting our hands on the skin has no effect on the pain. But psychologically, we feel the relief.

And Precap: I really don't think it is only Jodha who will talk during the entire discussion but with the intent emotions on Ruqaiya, I feel she will contrinute more to this than Salima.

anyway, back to characters of the show. Hameeda, as usual not happy that Jodha has landed herself in new trouble. Her concern for Jodha is increasing, coz she knows this time again Jodha has taken 'panga' with Jalal's badi ammi. and history tells that Jalal goes against the person who is against MA. But the thing she still doesn't know that while Jalal is trying to understand his feeling , he remembers Hameeda and not MA. Again Thanks to Jodha coz she is the one this time to put these feelings in him. See how he thinks, is this 'EHSAAS' called 'KHUSHI', what Ammijaan keeps saying abt.

Diksha, there is also a contrary opinion on this thread today that maybe Jalal should have stayed a bit more reserved and not betrayed his thoughts so openly. But I think that we have to allow the Creatives to show those self-talks of his regarding his heart and khushi otherwise we will never be able to know what's happening in his mind?

MA won't change, but rather will become more evil, and I m sure after yest, though not in AK's case, but Ruku will join hands with MA. but now , she will support Jodha as to oppose MA.

Salima's smile said it all that, ruku is not going to take the matter of Salima n Jodha aslo to be special, in good spirit. and so she senses trouble, but then seems ready to handle it. This lady is really most mature character in the show.

I like the way Salima said that when there's sign of trouble she usually smiles!

remains our AkDha. Jodha was superb to express her feelings to Jalal so openly that she is upset as she thinks herself in tasneem's place. and Jalal seems to understand the exact meaning of her words and the pain in heart. and he knows he too was at the same place where AK is now. only there was nobody to question him like AK is questioned.

once again Jodha's Ghrina, came on the show twice today, first to make him understand her feeling abt marriage and husband-wife relationship. second time it came was to put him out of the guilt he was facing due to that first one. when first time she said , that if the girl hates the boy , the relationship can not happen as hatred is no good base for marriage. and he exactly understands that she is remembering their marriage, and the way it happened. and so he promises her of no injustice so as to pacify her. and he succeeds. she not only accepts his words but also understands that he too is seeing their marriage and relationship after that, in her POV and so to make him relax she says that she no more hates him. and her words do the magic. The words when he understands the meaning of it surprise him and give the satisfaction and peace he has wanted so long.

Diksha, I think you also must have liked that part (as I did) where he says "You needn't worry, I'll take care of this issue, all your questions will be answered" and she says "Thanks I got my answer already from you!"😳😳😳

but one thing, she still didn't say directly that she trusts him, she says she trusts his decision making as now he has changed and understands others, thus again challenging him not to break her trust. and Jalal understands the challenge and seems keen to take the right decision without hurting anybody. Both AkDha were superb and tonight seems to be continuation os their rocking together unknowingly.

My few observations on yesterday's episode ...

Why Jalal selects his 3 spl begums to take the final decision on Adham fiasco ? : 🤔I feel Jalal just wanted to play fair and not give Maham the opportunity to cry foul again about his bias .. last time Maham complained about how he considered only Ruqaiyya to take advice on who should get the subehdaari which was unfair .. so thats why I feel this time Jalal wanted to play safe and thus consider all his 3 spl begums to take the decision on Adham because all his 3 begums r women afterall and at some point of life all 3 hv gone through issues like forced marriage (Jodha) or child marriage(Ruqaiyya) or compromised marriage(Salima) ... so thats why they hv the experience of it and can decide on Tasneem and Adham issue in better and fair way 😉...

Maham will obviously take advantage of this game and brainwash Ruqaiyya about it since she knows that out of all 3 begums , Ruqaiyya is the most immatured and insecure one and also Maham had her own personal vengence against Ruqaiyya too for not selecting Adham for the subehdari ... So this was a perfect opportunity for Maham to make Ruqaiyya realise that now Jalal has 3 spl begums and not just her

But Jalal I guess took this decision just to play fair and let the women who hv been in similar scenario like Tasneem take the final decision as he feel they will understand this issue in better way 🤔...

Jyoti, I buy this as a possible fourth reason why Jalal may have assembled all his wives together. maybe he feels four heads are better than one. Waise there's a good possibility now that Ruq will join Jodha's side against Maham because of that ugly catfight. So Jalal may have all three wives against Maham!


Jalal starts feeling his heart beats : 😳.. So this was the most interesting progress in the episode where Jalal is finally beginning to feel his heart beats 😳... Jalal was overwhelmed when Jodha confessed that the hate phase ends from her side and now she trusts his decision 😳.. In normal scenario Jalal would hv taken it as just another praise from one of his begums but coming from Jodha , he felt it was special and his heart was overwhelmed to hear this compliment from Jodha which he wonders why 😉😳..Last time when he could feel this excitement in his heart was when his father was alive as he was closest to his father and today again he could feel that same emotion in his heart which means slowly but surely Jodha is taking that spl place in his heart thus making him realise that his heart can still beat and feel those emotions ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️... Loved Jalal's self talk regarding the same 👏👏👏.. His expressions while doing the self talk about how he is beginning to feel his heart beats once again was fabulous 👏👏👏

Coming to Jodha's confession that she no more hates Jalal , well I will believe it only when some other issue arises and she shows her trust there in Jalal ...

Hehehe ... yes we all better be careful what Jodha says as we are eternally afraid that she may backtrack (or rather that the Creatives may make her backtrack!)😆😆😆😆😆 But that heart scene and self-talks of Jalal were very very nice! I am glad we got those self-talks otherwise we would not have understood what is happening to him!


Hamida and Salima ..two well wishers of Jalal-Jodha : These two ladies slowly but steadily r proving to b real well wishers of Jalal-Jodha relationship now 👍🏼.. Salima was happy that Jalal considered Jodha as one of his 3 spl begums though Salima knew the consequences beforehand about Maham taking advantage of this situation and brainwashing the already insecure Ruqaiyya 😆 but still she was genuinely happy for Jodha 😳... Hamida there showed her worry regarding Jodha's involvement in this Adham fiasco which could make Maham her worst enemy and this could affect her relationship with Jalal since Jalal is close to Maham ...Even in this worry, we can sense how much Hamida wants Jalal-Jodha to b together always and so she dont want Jodha to get involved in any such matter which can create issues between her and Jalal later on 👍🏼.. So with two such strong well wishers , I dont see any real trouble in Jalal-Jodha relationship as long as these two hold their trust for each other ...

Hamida has always been what she showed yesterday, but I loved the Salima dialogue with Jodha also. It was so mature and yet so deeply understanding of Jodha's position also. I liked the way Salima said "If you don't want to share your feelings its okay, but your silence on this topic (of happiness regarding Jalal's decision to include you as a khas begum) is evidence of your feelings!"


About the precap , I hv mixed feeling on Jodha's lecture regarding women's rights and how women r not safe blablabla .. I really dont want JA to turn into a documentary which every week preaches one new subject related to social awareness .. For that we already hv shows like diya baati or even our news channels .. why will one watch a love story for social awareness related issues 🤔... To b honest subjects like child marriage or forced marriage stuffs existed till the british people came to rule our country .. it was later few of our freedom fighters and the britishers themselves stopped these practices .. Jodha or Akbar dint really put an end to all this .,. so why touch on these sensitive issues and distort the facts ... 🤔... But if this whole thing begins Jalal's journey towards becoming Akbar , its all fine as long as CVs dont totally turn this show into a medium for social awareness or make it too preachy 😊

I guess we have to suffer such preachy stuff now and then since the story is about the life of a King and his laws and such serious stuff! As long as Jodha doesn't become a "social activist" I am OK with some occasional bhashans. But I certainly don't want election speeches!~

JJ scene was the best one.Jodha simply asked Jalaal what are his views on Adham issue ? Jalaal knew very well she will come and ask him the questions, and he gave her a word she will get justice. Jodha told him, she doesn't have Girna, as he is now changed and trust her, so she also trusts his decision making. What a simple words.

What I like about Jodha she is straight forward, tells whatever in her mind and doesn't fear even in Ghirna stage also. She clearly told him that she did had Ghirna before , but now her views changed. Those simple words have have given'EHSAAS'unknown happiness and feelings which he felt after a long time.He is still want to know why he is feeling happy. I love the simple romance with deep feelings and Epic moments.
