Well didn't Jalal too pressurize Jodha into a marriage which she did not want.
Adham is taking advantage of the little girl's poverty, her father's weakness for drinking and trying to coerce the family into giving him the girl.

Jalal on the other hand had Jodha's 3 brothers in custody and their kingdom under his feet. And so he too used all this to his advantage to get Jodha.

In Jalal's defense I can say that he has not so far ever tried to force himself on Jodha.
And of course Jodha is not underage.

But apart from these two points I see more similarities than differences.

Of course in other matters Jalal is far better a human being than Adham.
But wrong is a wrong no matter who does it.

Jalal did force Jodha into the marriage. Let us not cover it up just because Jalal is the hero.

ok sorry .. I m not covering .. he didn't force jodha .. actually
nor he propose marriage ... it was proposed by jodha's father
..he could choose the other option open war... or keep giving ransom...
that was political matter... and I m not saying this whole matter..amer war ..cheepu pressure on bharmal all those thing were right ..but to say jalal force jodha is not right.
this whole matter has nothing to comparable with adham n tanseem matter... 😊..

To the TM,
I don't know if you are watching the same show or not but the show I am watching there Raja Bharmal, Jodha's father brought the proposal to Jalal and Jalal agreed to it for reasons of his own which we saw later. But he didn't force this marriage on Jodha, not even for once.

Moreover you are comparing him to Adham Khan who doesn't have any humanity nor any compassion nor any honor of words nor any character. He goes high seeing any girl in skirts! Wow, I didn't know Jalal has got such a promotion as Adham Khan!

And Jalal didn't have to agree to this marriage, he won Amer fair and square and if he wanted he could have just kidnapped Jodha or simply could have picked her up and put her in the harem without any marriage. That is what Adham Khan would have done!

And then supporting Jodha's wish and honoring her requests about her religion and not invading her privacy and honor in every way possible and then supporting her whenever he could, tried to do justice in his way as far as she is concerned...yes all this proves he is nothing but worse than Adham Khan I guess!!

OK i am not sure of this story how jalal married jodha since i did not see those episodes
But in real history bharamal went and proposed jodha's wedding to jalal to get back his kingdom and wealth. Jalal never went and asked him to marry his daughter to him. Because akbar had not married any hindu ladies till then and i doubt that thought came in his mind ever. He would be knowing all the opposition he would face from ulema, people, minsiters and relatives. Indeed although he asked his family to come to wedding none came neither hmida, nor ruqu, salima nor gulbadan or bakshi all his close family members.
Second he agreed to let jodha remain worship hindu gods in agra fort agianst everyone's wishes. He allowed her to follow her customs and celebrate her festivals.
Third he did not force her to accept him as her husband and waited patiently till she accepted him.
Fourth he helped her family by giving them high positions, helipng in marriages of her sisters etc while he had no obligation whatsoever
And remember jalal was emperor of 100 million people and a land almost 30% of entire asia he was very powerful no one dared oppose him if he wanted anything. if he wanted he could have just ordered jodha in his harem and not married her but he married her and gave her place as his wife respect in society. That is why i am surprised when she shows attitude to him. Real jodha would be understanding all this and showing him respect.
Will adham do all this for a wife? I doubt
So jalal is better than adham and do not forget in those times rana udai singh had 20 wives, bharaml himself had many wives, man singh had 60 wives etc so why throw stones at jalal for marrying 300 wives. I am sure jalal never had a husband-wife relation with 300 wives they were just married for political reasons so that their families stay loyal to mughal empire.
And currently in show he is 20 year old and has only 4-5 wives not the 300 he had finally
And akbar himself regretted marrying so many in middle age hence brought that one wife-one husband rule

yup but there is a very prominent difference lying in between this two marriage, first of all the marriage was not proposed by JALAL,

second -he won amer in a fair battle, but yup sharifu killed suryavan not in a fair way but that had nothing to do with Jalal,as sharifu killed surya for his own interest..

third- Jalal is there to win the whole hindustan and not to prove himself a sage, and not to do charity. How could he set her brothers free just on jo's father's request,

fourth-jo accuses him for forcing her in the marriage, but we all know and she also understands it in deep that no other rajput state helped them out in their distress condition,no one was there beside them..hence her father had no other way out

Jalal in no way forced the marriage. Chugtai Khan is the one who thought up the marriage to help Bharmal. Even Bharmal opposed it initially and then gave in and presented the proposal to Jalal. Jodha herself didn't want to know who her marriage was fixed with.

In fact Jalal is the one who requested munh-dikhayi ceremony, so that Jodha would knowingly marry him. After that shock, her mother and father basically told her their kingdom depended on her and she went through with it, after setting out her conditions only to be approved by Jalal.

i agree but that was the only choice left for bharmal to save his sons life n to save his kingdom . jalal did not left any choice for him . bharmal's sons wr under jalal's/ shariff's custody .

directly or indirectly but he was the reason of this forced cum hate marriage

@blue: Yeah that is the only point I am making. In no way I am saying Jalal is as nasty as Adham but in this situation I thought there was a similarity.
