I am very inspired by this study you have done of the Jalal-Maham relationship. And you are right, her angst is against Salima and Ruq too. As you say the mother son duo of Maham and Adham have decided to shame Jalal into forgiving Adham because they think he is going to cringe in a corner as he too has married many times. Little do they know that they have made a huge enemy of Jalal by bringing this topic!😲

Jaya that was brilliant from you. Neither of the protagonists know what Prem is. 🤣 This pretty much sums up the 'love' story so far and tells us to prepare for a very long road ahead. I actually don't mind this state of affairs. Jo and Ja have plenty of sides to their characters that can keep me going. Anybody who tries to take on Jo-Ja will need lots of walls to punch their fists through in frustration. Long Live Jodha Akbar.

NO, it is not just because she saved his life in childhood and took care of him or hanging to his blind belief. He believes n her because she has been proved as a good administarter and caring for him even today when he was stressed. She consoles him and cries for him when he was hurt. One more thing I have noticed is that she really loves Jalal, there is no doubt about that but when it comes to decide between the 2, she will swing towards Adham which is not known to Jalal so far. When he can believe & trust Jodha (who is a new entry to his close circle) despite calling him a cheater and faught verbal wars with him, why can't he trust his Badi Ammi who had given him no reson to doubt her integrity towsrds Mughal sultanate and her love for Jalal.

mansi why would Jallu cling to his childhood? He doesn't have a happy memory of it...So I dont think he is clinging to his childhood...But I think he by nature is a very loyal person and try to be kind to ppl who have been nice to him at some point of time...What do you think?

I just read all your discussions about the trust factor..it is not that jodha completely distrusts jalal,just that she has compartmentalized her trust..in BB's case,it was not MA ,she was dealing with..Now she would be, she has a first hand experience of the diabolical person that MA is and amount of emotional blackmail she is capable of..she is aware of MA's hold on Jalal and is also aware of her role in rukku' s MC..she is also aware of how MA got away with doing this big crime..she is also aware of MA's manipulative politics and power grabbing mechanisms ..she is aware of MA's blind love for adham...in this scenario,how can she even trust jalal to deliver justice .it is not the trust in Jalal that is in question but it is role that MA will play in subverting jalal from delivering justice..
