I feel bad for Ruqu, as still now she is the winning every competition against other begums, but now she lost to Jodha after the chess competition that to in Darbar itself. That too Jalaal put jodha gift before announced to come and sit beside him. I can understand Ruqu, as beforew only Jalaal, hamida and everyone was so mesmirised to see Jalaal in that outfit. I can also understand Jodha gift has awaken his innersoul, he reflected his thoughts before Darbar people.

But one thing Jalaal can praise the gift by jodha,and declare it as best gift, but could have called both Jodha and Ruqu to sit with him, as both their gifts gave him happiness. Just like Hamida said" One has increased the shaan "while the " other increased the Maan".

JJ soul talk is wonderful. Jodha at the beginning episode only said to her father that "A King who rules the heart of people will live for longer years ". So Jodha that time knows wants her husband to rule the hearts of the people. She did the same with Jalaal and showed him the route. When he got that affection, belessings and love from his people, the sleeping heart arosed and wished and prayed that Jodha give him many more gifts like this life long.

Both are overwhelmed shed happy tears and satisfaction reflected in their eyes. The journey has started and both don't know they desitiny is they are SOULMATES.

Ruqu still has doubts, as how much JJ relationship changed, where Jalaal hated her and wants to cut her wings, now is only saying she is friend and she started this journey and wants her to accept the fact now both JJ have to walk with him lifelong. Ruqu wll try everything to get back her Jalaal as Ruqu will surely see the change of feelings between JJ and you have Maham and Hoshiyaar to more provocate her.

Okay about the episode , i too felt that when jalal compared the gift was a bit on the face , but it was his honest opinion for sure and may be the situation he was in was responsible for the same. If he was in private he would have handled the issue better...


Firstly , he had not seen ruqu since whole day and when he faced her in court he was already overwhelmed with her gift so he could not stop but declare her the best and then again same situation arose again with jodha's gift , he was again flooded with emotions so he chose to be true to his feelings...

@jaya , he explained that he went out with jodha and even displayed her gift to one and all in the sabha . I get your point about your daughter but then again we are saying this from the beginning that ruku has not grown up so she behaves that way ... but i also don't buy your point of view as far as her upbringing is concerned ... she does not want to share jalal at any cost be it with his praja too... There are other ladies in the same mughal household like salima , hamida and jiji anga , gulbadan . They are all very different and i can say tht they are alike in their thought process as far as the shenshah is concerned but why not ruku ... Even MA understands tht jalal needs a wife so why can't ruqu , it is not because of the atmosphere she has been brought up in , it is the fact tht she chose not to evolve for she liked the way she was till now and when the tides have turned she is caught all alone int he path of change , no one else is getting affected by the change in jalal's life ... (exceptions excluded )...


So all in all i would say it is the game of ideology and not also taking away wat ELA pointed out tht jalal is rude at times but i have also been able to fathom reasons for his behavior , the day i won't be able to , i would declare that his actions are deliberate.

She will be loyal towards Jalaal, but not towards Jodha. May be Ruqu will feel that it's attraction as JJ still didn't consummate. Even when others say that JJ are in love which they themselves don't know, but Ruqu may be in denial and think it's just physical attraction, which is not deep in their hearts. In this battle to win over Jodha and get her Jalaal, she may do some thing foolish which will make Jalaal broken, then she might starts realising and accept Jodha.

If developed properly Ruqu character will have so much scope and lots of emotions till now she didn't feel from Jalaal or any other begum.

I feel its like this family where the first child is unable to accept the second or third child in the family. The parents will at first try to understand, but then they have to be firm at some point or that first child will never accept the siblings!

I'm very sorry if my post upsets anyone because that is truly not my intenion, but I sincerely cannot understand all this sympathy for ruku coz jalal said jodha's gift is better than ruks:

Ela , what i feel here is that he was firm and honest with her and was trying to show her the reality ...he was not rude ...he gave her an example of two sides of river and asked her to co-exist with jodha and also told her in advance his current state of mind , even before she asked her and then again when she inquired that would this reduce her importance in his life , he reassured her again and asked her to take care ...

If he would have been rude he would not be standing so close and even kissed her , see being rude or angry are very strong emotions and mostly us, humans would have in it our eyes before voicing it , its like the sound of thunder that we hear before the lightening itself ... look at jalal's yes closely in tht scene , he was very honest and truthful and concerned about her ...

And also look into ruqu eyes , you would find glimpse of jealousy and fear , which clearly state tht she did not buy his assurance .
