Today is what I would call an interlude episode..and the precap leads one to CONclude that Damsel's gift trumps that of Narcissa...😆...who then goes into one of her " Billions of Blue Blistering Barnacles" rants...( and I so love Cap'n Haddock!!...) Tant Pis...

Dunno if Bull should get called Akbar so quickly..that would be unfair...and i think from the movie timeline, it happens after Adha M's fall from grace...errr...as it were..(that was a macabre pun..I know)...he has a long way to go...though he is on the right track...So...Keep Calm and Walk On..I say..!!😃...and he has such a fiery guide...😳

So, in keeping with the vein of the start...lets go backwards...to head forwards...

I intially thought that Narcissa's gift would be a fine Arab Steed..., but since horsies don't glitter...i re-guess my guess to that of a throne...a huge eye-popping, sunglass requiring monstrosity...would love to be proven wrong...but there is a lot of gilt involved..

Having said that , I get EIC's impatience with Royally Uncommon Bull's delay in getting his gift...she has done whatever she has ...with a lot of forethought and affection...how sad that it gets hit out of the park... a la SRT's six at Headingley 'gainst whoever that sad English bowler that day..

Imperio is learning ..courtesy of Damsel..how to connect with the common man...tales of which we have read since childhood...'tis nice to see the Scribs adding this important facet of Rex Imperio's ethos ..as he heads towards becoming The Great...No other Emperor connected to his subjects the way this one did...and no wonder history remembers him so fondly...It kinda ties up with the lessons Damsel has been gradually schooling him in..and which he is imbibing into his pscyhe with so much alarcity..

having said that , I miss the acerbic wit, and rapid fire to and fro's...😕

I feel that what is evolving now are 3 facets of Imperio...if Serena is his mind,EIC his confidante...then Damsel will be his conscience..his heart...keeper of his trust...and this is his personal holy troika, much in the way the Rajasthan Royals become his court confidantes...in keeping with his Darwinian Evolution...

Damsel's confidence in her Dude is what is tres intressant to moi...methinx now tis her trust in him that is stronger...he is shown to vouch for her integrity...but trust...mmm...dunno bout that..

and as for my little Amor...i am in love...as should be...he covers up his errors with so much cuteness..foisting it on others...and walking away with a "Who...Me..?? "" expression...LOL!!

i agree Jallu journey from Jalal to Akbar has started but then i feel its too early to give him the title becos as a Shahenshah he has lots to do for his subject before the title...we must not forget that jallu gets distracted by others too...people like MA...Ruku...etc...this title should be given when he totally immerse his soul for his subjects w/o being distracted by others...jodha will slowly teach him the journey...

thank god the gift is nowhere near to BB...though we did not know today...the suspense is just awesome...can't wait to see the gift...

the gift from jodha is "LOVE"...jallu always been a loner...with lots of people surrounded him for their own benefits and evil intentions...with his wives around him...he is still a loner...his harem are filled with enemies than friends and well-wisher...it makes so special that the outside world...doesn't have any evil intention for him but just love him for what he is...its a beautiful gift from jodha...

jodha has seen him suffering in grief...seen him in tears...and she knows most of his people in harem are not trustworthy...the man needs love to heal his broken heart and pain...she really knows the right chords and she have succeed in 50%...by evening 50% will be succeed too...

its his birthday...he is in a good mood...deep down he is a loner...a broken heart man...what more be a gift when love is showered from every corner of his city just for him...its indeed a special gift...

as Adham...he is cheap...i am sure after jallu's birthday celebrations...he is going to reveal his evil intention to marry the kid tasneem...the prey is already in his trap

as for ruku...she is childish...immature too...but the precap is giving hints for storm for Akdha...but whatever she is going to plot against jodha will only bring jallu very very close to jodha...

Jodha did seem a bit less warm initially. But like you, even though I noticed it, I thought it was all part of a deliberate strategy. Also, she was in the midst of pooja and least expected him.

Jalaal was eager, enthusiastic and curious about her gift. At every given opportunity he asked her.

I liked the way he said, "Didn't expect u to be such a kanjoos".

Am sure he will understand the pains she had taken to plan this whole thing at the end of the evening.

I loved Rahim - The way he responded to Ruqqu and Jalaal...

Beautifully pointed to Ruqqu that she shouldn't take such trivial matters to Salimaand made Jalaal look as though he was the confused soul,😆😆😆Endearing and adorable cupid for Jo-Ja equation.

Jodha wanted her gift to be the last one to be uncovered and I too feel it might be him garning all the well-wishes of his vvery own people. Very thoughtful indeed and shows that she cares enough for him to want him to gain the well wishes of his people too.
I think it might be a tad too early for "Akbar" but anycase well-wishes and content of his people is good enough.

Looks like Ruqu's gift will be grand ...But the one that will be making a lasting impression will be Jodha's. Very impressive work again by the creative team.

Adham- Only God can help him. Like salima pointed in yesterday's episode that girl looks like he could've fathered her!

One thing I have been noticing and by the look of the posts in the forum a few others are beginning to point out too is there is not a whole lot of passion between Jo-Ja. Not the kind we saw in Aug/Sep during the Aarthi and the sword fight...I hope there is a reason for this and soon we will see that side for them.

Ruqu, her impatience, immaturity in planning the way she did, her compettiveness displayed in the precap all were quite evident.

Seeing the precap I realized ruku is very angry for making Jalal wear common clothes on his bday and divert him form his gift hunt

I hope Jalal realizes what he has and learn to treasure it the kingdom itself is big part of his life I am very moved that he will finally leArn lot of wise things from jodha and that will help him become a better king
