Jodha and Jalal..... innocence

Why are they so innocent when it comes to love and romance?

"why did you forgive Bakshi Bono?"

"what would have made you happier?"

So did she forgive BB for Jalal's happiness? I don't think that he will spend even a moment on why she just said that.

His defensive statement from yesterday

"Don't think I did this because I am in love with you". Can't expect Jodha either to spare a thought on why he made that statement...

Aren't they beyond help? ... But to me, this is a very cute, endearing and innocent behavior as well. They probably have no concept or understanding of the denial mode' either. But then, they did not have the advantage of watching Yash Chopra movies while growing up.

Most of us in 21^st century would have been able to read between the lines or see the actual emotions behind these statements. Put two and two together, these statements and their recent actions...Easy diagnosis... the other person is clearly is falling in love... But these two otherwise intelligent and sensible people... Jalal more so than Jodha currently (unfair to compare...he is the great' while she is just hunar-mand' ) from 16^th century don't seem to notice anything...they seem to be doing better at understanding each other now but still lagging behind on the romance front...Plus, then right from the beginning, these innocent romantic comments that they have unknowingly made are usually followed by another very unromantic statement/lecture/rant/tirade which takes the magic out of the initial statement right away. Till recently, they didn't really trust each other most of the time.. But surprisingly, they never question each other's "I hate you" claims... Just shows their vulnerable side...Dont we prepare ourselves for the worst when we fear heart shattering outcomes...In their subconscious mind, they are both aware of their liking for each other...However, their conscious mind is aware of each other's stubborn, arrogant and often mean behavior... Their only defense is to try and guard their heart and hide their softer side from the person who they probably know by now...is the only one who can really break their heart.

Let's give them some more time and wait for them to fall in love...completely and unconditionally.
