Woh pehle bhi ek widow thi. And it is 16th century, women's lives revolved around their hubby's at that time. Rajput women killed themselves after husband's death. Bakshi was thakfully and graciously remarried. Bakshi's ki dusri shaadi karane ke liye acche ladkon ki kami padi hogi tabhi we have to bear up with SD. Guys would line up to marry her as she is the emperor's sister but finding a young guy of same royal standing and stature as Bakshi herself would be difficult. She obviously doesn't want to go through all that again. And ho sakta hai she really has come to love her husband over time. Who knows. 😕

Ann, just recently at Amer she was trying to hide the wound in her arm caused by his cruelty, how can she be in love with this guy beats me! But maybe I am being too modern in trying to understand her?

This medicine bottle will not prove much except that Jodha's milk / /Sharbhat was spiked. Even if Raheem tells them that he picked from kitchen after the lady in black burkha added its content to the drink, he can't testify the identity and and criminal will be given the benefit of doubt even before he / she is accused.

We are trying to understand through a modern point of view. Bakshi is the true 16th century wife (hubby ke liye kuch bhi karega and all). Ready for anything instructed by SD. She is stuck between the devil and deep sea. She has chosen the devil she knows and not the deep sea she wouldn't dare go near.

Being a widow is tough. And if Jalal kills Shareef, she will be widowed twice. That is a horror even in modern times. She would be the one avoided in marital circles by good royal families with young men. If she does end up marrying someone, he would be rich but most probably an unfit husband even worse than Sharif. She doesn't want to go through that. Nobody wants to be married thrice, especially a 16th century lady. Her kismat will kosoed till death by people around her. That is enough to make anyone die each day.

Her remarriage was not of her choice, though Jalal selected Shareef thinking that he is too brave abd strong to take care of his sister, it was more like tofa to Shareef for his victory over Amer. During those days, the winning captain used be rewarded with valuable and Jalal found his sister more valuable to donate to his Subhedhar.😆😆😆

There is a say "when rape is inevitable, enjoy it" and she is following that only. Since she can't live a widow life and can't imagine one more marriage (what is the guaranty she will not be gievn to Adham Khan, as it is both mom & Son were desperate to get her married to Adham) with much cruel & demented person?. So she is trying to get used to her life (if you call that as life) and sow an happy face to the whole world.

here I disagree with all of you...I would choose widowhood anytime than to be beaten daily...

mansi BB will alwasys be respected and honoured and Jalal will make sure of that...

the truth is BB is most unroyal of all the ladies...

The only thing she will loose being a widow is a chance to be a mother, nothing else...

That is what we would all choose Ela, but the truth is that even in 2013 there are women who get beaten rather than leave the marriage and be independent! I know of somebody in my own extended family who is still preferring to undergo ill-treatment than self-respect!

I guess its some combination of politico-social reasons as well as the women's own psychological make up - plus of course her priorities (or lack of them) in life!

BB is not as brave as the other royal ladies. But none of them would want their husband to die, i am pretty sure. Even Jodha was flabbergasted at the thought of losing Jalal: he allowing her to leave Agra and losing him to tiger attack. And Jodha is the bravest among the royal ladies, we have seen that. So, expecting such show of personality from BB is too much.
