The balance scene was very symbolic but it appeared disjoint as Jodha suddenly popped out in front of him and started her monologue.
Sometimes that happens because the Creatives have to cut from one scene to another and manage to pack in everything as planned in 22 minutes. They did try to show Jalal for a few minutes before Jodha came there, so the scene did not look too disjointed to me!
Moreover the Dewan-e-khas scene, where he was keenly staring at the ring, it was an official task of him, why didn't he pay his attention to court works rather than thinking about Jodha all the time.😡

Here I can sympathise with Jalal. In fact I liked it that he was unable to concentrate on his work, which showed me that he was indeed trying very hard to think of what to do on this "issue" at hand!
Though salima managed last day with her gracious presence and very important suggestion..
what can I say more. I love you liked the epi unlike the MC track where you didn't like Jalal seeking ruku's suggestion..😆😉
For me, as you rightly point out, I want to see Jalal "feel" something strong, because that shows me he has a heart. If like yesterday, he chooses his advisors well, I have no problem. Salima encourages him to have a heart. Whereas Ruq doesn't. In fact she keeps encouraging him to think he doesn't have a heart.
So yes, conferring with Salima was a great idea, whereas, as he himself said, conferring with Ruq did not seem like a good idea at this time.
Finally he is also seeing clearly the extent to which Ruq can help him and what are her limitations! That is a good sign. I don't want him to shun Ruq, I just want him to know what to talk with whom.
