In the durg issue, he did take his own stand. In the maulvi issue he did take his own stand. This is an issue concerning woman - its better he consults someone - and who's better than Salima - genuine and non-judgemental!

Akbar himself was known to consult Begum Ruqaiyya, Begum Salima, Hameeda and MUZ on many many issues...

In the serial, they've shown

In Religious issues Jalal consults Maulvis

In political issues (before BK and now Atgah Khan)

In Harem related issues MA, Hameeda, Ruqs and Salima

Even in Akbarnama and other historical works the fact that he consulted his chief Begums on such matters has been documented 😊

as a man he don't know much about pregnancy symptoms...nor he is very attached to jodha as he is with ruqayya n salima...they r his first cousins...belong to his own proud lineage... but he was thinking even before jodha came to seek justice... because if he was not he already took some harsh step... but he didn't... give him some margin yaar. a man never touch his wife n wife got prego... os bechare ki tau batti hi gul ho jaegi... not to mention...shahnsha ... nobody ever in his life dare to touch his simplest thing...n here his wife got pregnant without him...ufff

During the Mohan incident, she knew that what mistake Jodha committed was out of ignorance...but, here when she hears that her son himself claims not to have relations with her bahu and a reputed khwaja shera confirms her pregnancy - she's just as taken aback as the rest!

Waise for the entire harem to blame jodha is precisely why this track in the first place - since that's what the TRP aunties want to watch!😭
