No emperor used to take all of his decisions by himself...its impossible...it could have led to lot of issues...Jalal was not a cruel autocratic ruler - he respected the wishes and advices of many people around him and after weighing all issues, took his decision - just like a just Emperor would!
We're talking of the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and many many numerous issues...Emperors always used to consult advisors so they'd be guided in the right direction. 'Two heads better than one!'I'm thankful they're not showing Jalal like an omnipotent, omnipresent all-protector!๐He is after all, human. In the durg issue, he did take his own stand. In the maulvi issue he did take his own stand. This is an issue concerning woman - its better he consults someone - and who's better than Salima - genuine and non-judgemental!Akbar himself was known to consult Begum Ruqaiyya, Begum Salima, Hameeda and MUZ on many many issues...In the serial, they've shownIn Religious issues Jalal consults MaulvisIn political issues (before BK and now Atgah Khan)In Harem related issues MA, Hameeda, Ruqs and SalimaEven in Akbarnama and other historical works the fact that he consulted his chief Begums on such matters has been documented๐
