Smiley's Ruq would've layered it by way of her face or voice but this Lavina just screeches & screams & is in-naturally obsessed with Power!! In the sense that that is all that she wants & craves for!!!

actually it was such a set back along with the actress they completely changed the character...the last scene of smiley as ruqaiyya was so touching her tears which she would hide both about not being loved as a woman would love to and then want of a child ..at that moment you realised she loved Jalal ...but then actress changed and character took a 360...i agree this ruqaiyya is beyond arrogant and screechy ...and her obsession with power with complete disregard to anyone around is annoying

I agree..., though Smiley just played Ruqs for few episodes only, she still did manage to leave her mark.

She was so so good!!

I've a feeling Kekta changed her because she was scared that the audience might root for Ruq-Jalal rather than JA!

And this story is entirely theirs!

I know and sometimes wonder if they changed her delibrately so that Ruqs character do not garner enough sympathies.

actually it would have been interesting ...showing that even if there are people around you who are integral part of your life yet you cannot decide whom you fall in love with...audience always love a love hate love story hence JA would have garnered their own fans but the other equation too would have been amazing to watch

just look a that scene when Jalal "jokes" abt loving jodha ...the panic stricken look on ruqaiyya's face did get to him...and this is going to be fun how he realises he is indeed in love and then how does he deal with it Ruqaiyya...

smiley was everything they described ruqaiyya to be ...i liked her too

Yup..She just needs to let him be..Jalal seems like a really loyal person..Even if he falls in love with Jodha, Ruqaiya will always have a special place in his heart..The more she goes psychotic, the more he'l run in the opposite direction😆

And that is exactly what pulls Jalal towards Jodha😆 The fact that she is nonchalant and secure😆 The least Ruqaiya can do is fake confidence😆 Don make it so darn obvious that you are an insecure soul😆
