Ariel...how sensibly you've put it lady...hats off to you...on a side note, its only possible to put it so matter-of-factly if you're not as 'taken' by the characters as us..😳...am I right in thinking so...once you start getting emotionally involved, all this takes up too much of one's time and energy😆
Either way, everything you've typed up there ^^^ makes tremendous sense..Jodha is no longer a character that she was at the start of the show, she's a tool that the CVs are misusing to keep the story running...that's why the inconsistencies and lack of justification in many many of her actions lately!

You're right I'm not as invested in this show as all of you are. I just like the character of jalal so far and I'm a sucker for romance . I learnt my lesson with IPK . It took over my life completely and I gave away so much of myself to that show. Nonetheless it still has a very very special place in my life. :) I don't want to get that involved in desi shows again coz invariably trp race will ruin the show . I saw it happen with IPK , we got idiotic track after idiotic track. As far as jodha goes, I saw it happen with khushi . She was destroyed in all manners after they developed her character so beautifully whereas Arnav kept going from strength to strength . We used to bend over backwards to find explanations for her behavior and the same was effortless with ASR as it is with jalal . And I think this is the new trend in desi shows so I'm safely going to put all my money on jalal :) hope he won't let us down :p
But khushi , lasted a lot longer before her downfall began . I don't know why with jodha the writers are already brining her down before we developed a true attachment with her . The show is only a few months old :(
