Television industry, sadly, has been showing more and more negative characters as the protagonists. It's truly shameful. I don't mean Jalal, but the industry in general. I mean it's one thing to so a 'khurus' or 'akdu' type of guy - it's quite another when you show us a beast.

It's good in the 'Beauty and the Beast' but this beauty taming the beast concept has been stretched past chewing gum going bad state now. We've progressed from - guy hates girl - to - mean guy hates girl - to - mean and abusive guy hates girl - to - total beastly and manipulative and mind playing torturous guy hates girl.

And then we wonder why guys, and girls, get into abusive relationships.

Anywho - I digress. I dunno what'll happen here - but wrapping up - Ekta has shown such actions. I hope she doesn't do it now - what with the environment and the attitude in the world today regarding rape.

To the TM - do you really think it's rape if:

a) the two involved are lawfully and willingly married?

b) it's done to save one's life?

I'm not at all arguing that THIS act would save anyone's life. That's a no brainer. But I'm curious to see if it a life WAS dependent on consummation (don't ask me how - I don't think there could be a scenario), and the individual initiating it has the sole purpose to keep the other alive, you'd still call it that?

I believe we saw something like this in DMG. Forum went up in flames with serious fights. But it's interesting to see such strong opinions.
