Shareef adham and maham can't get caught so soon.. πŸ˜†

Maybe they should choose some temporary villian..

Some random begam or servant could have been behind MC.. why use Maham?

I'm taking this from another post by myviewprem - If Jalal (in the serial) has been showing doing mistakes its cos that's what's been recorded in history too...(obviously, we don't know who was responsible for those MCs in his harem since there's no one culprit stated) but the rest has been outlined below...

So, then the actual Akbar at this point also was only learning from his mistakes (which I think he must have committed till his last years since he was only human)

Akbar was a great King but in initial years he did lots of mistakes. Like treating maham anga like Godly status and allowing her interference in administration, keeping quiet at adham's transgressions, thinking sharifuddin will be a great husband for his widowed sister, trusting bairam khan completely and allowing him to rule extra constitutionally. Also him marrying so many wives lead to family chaos.
Bakshi bano step sister of Akbar was a widow(may be thats why he banned child marriage and helped widow get remarriaged?) and Akbar married her to sharifuddin after he became emperor. Bakshi Bano was 3 years elder to him and was taken as hostage with him by her uncles in Kabul. Some say that she was also tied along with Akbar to the kabul fort during bombings. Not sure as no one can verify what really happened? But she was definetly rescued by Hindal Mirza -Ruqaiah's father with Maham anga, Akbar and Adham Khan and safely returned to Humayun.

In no way is Akbar faultless, he's considered Great because he was revolutionary in merging Mughal Hindu interests. His greatness was because his penchant for developing the nation was not just through administration alone - but through religion, art, architecture, music, wars, politics everything!
He was a man to welcome all forms of thinking and was a forward thinker. People in Europe were being burned for just being catholic or protestant, he was a king who was ready to understand and allow people to follow other religions. If that cannot be called Great, what can!

Nowhere has it been stated that Akbar was a kind ruler or that he made no mistakes. Chronicles state that he was a short tempered ruler and made many mistakes (esp where his family were concerned) - but he did manage to achieve as an Emperor- far more than either his Mughal predecessors or successors!

My point is not kind or unkind here. Also, not making "no mistakes". Making mistakes is human otherwise one would be much higher. But making only mistakes without listening is the point. All rulers have made mistakes some more and some less, but all have. However, what we see here is he just doesn't even try to think hard. Forget religion, Mughal etc, he doesn't see anything as a king.

That's a bit harsh - if he didnt' see anything as a king - he wouldn't have sensed Maan Singh's worth, he wouldn't have visited the temple, he wouldn't have aspirations of ruling Hindus as Hindus and not forcing them to convert, he wouldn't have given Jodha the choice of returning to Amer if she wanted to and made her stay when her mother refused to take her back, he wouldn't have hidden Jo from public view after the suicide incident, he wouldn't have apologized in court for having punished Jo and family harshly, he wouldn't have gifted the Qila- I could go on!
Just cos he's emotionally swayed by MA & her son and Shareef, doesn't negate the numerous other things he's achieved...To say he doesn't see anything as a king means he's not even worthy to be one - and that's not a very fair point to make! Just my opinion...

And why do you say forget religion - when that's one of his greatest achievements...πŸ˜•
