Every day of her 17 years this woman has been hammered with such prejudices, how is she suppose to let go of them so easily? The next question arises why can't she? Can't she see jalal is so nice to her?precisely because of this It's all the more difficuilt for her. A sworn enemy being nice to her beyond normal. Why? Why me? Is he gonna hurt me where it hurts the most? I shall keep the pretence on. What if I bare my soul and he walks all over it? Am I strong enough to take such an enormous risk? Jalal has a ruqaiya, a Salima to turn to: jodha's world will crash to pieces if jalal doesn't turn out to be what her heart believes he is.

He has saved her from herself and saved her from a zoo. He restored her sisters izzat back . He has done everything in his power to make amends. When has jodha made amends ? You cannot use past dialogues to justify present dialogues . Now the story has moved on situations , circumstances and characters have changed . In that light her rudeness was completely uncalled for. She is stuck in the past. Whether it's right or wrong , time will tell but only if jodha comes back to the present .

Edit: whenever jodha has been rude she doesn't think it through. She hits below the belt just based on her assumptions and what she has heard/overheard. If jalal hits below the belt he has reason enough to believe she was wrong . Like the ark was from amer. He should have investigated it but at that moment he had lost what was most previous to him . So he reacted badly . Jodha reacts badly at the mere thought that something might happen to what is most precious to her before anything even happens .

You are right , she probably was being honest . But then again maybe not. Without an inner monologue we can't be sure about her. But I meant you can be painfully honest but still be dignified about it . like HB was with MA. She didn't say back off bitch he is my son. Which was kinda along the time jodha used yesterday . She could have let him down gently especially when has been so generous in his praise for her clan. For her own dignity and self respect and image as a princess she could have let him down gently.

How can she think in poisitive way when he is giving extra attention before her parents (especially green dress), when she still doesn't trust him, how can she show her feelings ?

^^correct Abhi. Prejudiced had made a good point. A person is at his/her all time low to go and commit suicide. What jalal told her was nothing different from what jodha yesterday. It doesn't make her right and him wrong. It only emphasises two individuals have to accept each others' good, bad and ugly.
